As te can see from my icon-avatar-thingy, I just adore Belle from the bottom of my heart. Why? Oh, only a hundred reasons! But, to make it short, I'll lista just a few. :D

I. She Loves Books
Obvious enough. The first couple of scenes of the movie, we could see her talking enthusiastically to the baker about a story she just read. Then, she proceeded to go to the bookstore and borrowed (or as it turned out, given) a book that she read all the way to her home.

Now, this gave positive remark to all young girls out there that they should read and be imaginative like Belle. After all, I, who fell in Amore with this girl after watching her movie, promptly told my mum about how I want to be like her when I grow up. She said, "Read più libri and be brave, and don't judge someone da their appearances and you'll be like Belle in no time." I believed her, and it was the greatest consigli she'd ever dato to me.

II. She's Brave
First example; she was willing to be the Beast's prisoner for her father's freedom. secondo example; had anyone ever noticed that when she ran away from the castello and had herself surrounded da wolves, she fell off Philippe and the Lupi attack him instead? Well at time, she had the opportunity to run away and leave his horse. Despite this fact, she went ahead and grab a stick, bravely protecting herself and her horse though there's a slim chance of survival. Stupid, te say? No, that was an admirable act of courage and sacrifice.

Then, off course, she was Ribelle - The Brave to the Beast himself. The Beast practically screamed and yelled and threatened her to go to cena with him. She refused. She refused a huge, hairy, scary beast. If that wasn't brave, I don't know what is.

Also, there's the scene where she saved the Beast from the wolves' attacks and treat his wounds. He cried, "THAT HURTS!" quite loudly, and te could see that his scream even made Belle's hair flew a little (when te watched the movie for about fifty times, you'd notice these things :p). What did Belle do? She fought back. She pointed how the Beast should learn to control his temper. She told a monster to control his temper. Again, this was very Ribelle - The Brave of her (I would faint at the sight of him alone :p)

III. She Cares for Her Family
Imagine this; you're dancing with your boyfriend in a grand ballroom, and he asked te if you're happy o not. What do te say?

"Yes, I'm happy with te here. Let's dance,"

Probably that. But no, Belle thought of his father. With a loving man (well, kinda) and a castello and a friendly crew of Come d’incanto object and beautiful dresses, she still thought about Maurice. This is why I like her so much. She didn't forget about her family when she's in Amore and rushed down to her dad when she knew he was sick.

There's also the thing where she sacrificed her own freedom for her father's but that's been discussed in the precedente point.

IV. She Doesn't Just Like People for Their Looks
This is self-explanatory isn't it? I mean, rejecting Gaston and loving a beast and being Friends with households reflects "Don't Judge a Book da Its' Cover" perfectly, no?

V. She's Odd
In case te missed the Belle's Song from her first appearances, the whole town was talking about her and using adjectives and words like "rather odd", "heads in the clouds", "funny girl", "very different from the rest of us" etcetera.

My point? Well, she's weird! Strange, unique, different, bookworm, nerd, dork -- whatever te want to call her, it's fine. Because the fact is, she was viewed as odd and not like other girls her age da everyone.

"Oh, she's so pretty, if only she was normal,"

Change the "pretty" to "talented", "smart", o any adjectives te like, and many girls can relate to Belle. I mean, how many people in high school feel that they don't fit in and is the weird one in the group? They often had very low self-esteem, but Belle proved that te can still have a happy life da being yourself.

Well, that's it. Five reasons why We/I Amore Belle. Enjoy! :D

Ps. I might do another Princess if te want to. :p

On the eighth giorno of Princess Walt Disney gave to me

Eight mice a-sewing

seven dwarves dancing
six sisters singing
five cursed friend

four braiding girls
three fairy spells
two lucky pals
and the wisdom of an old tree.

I guess I have to apologize...I did my best to create pages featuring the princesses as the sole centre of attraction, but with gelsomino that is a little bit difficult because she is usually featured with Aladdin, rarely alone. I could have either found o created a picture of gelsomino if I really wanted to, but I really liked this one and it just seemed to fit her the best. So I made...

On the Third giorno of Princess Walt Disney gave to me,

Three fairy spells,

and the wisdom of an old tree.

Another day, another page for the calendar. And unlike the last one, this one was kind of a headache for me. Remember a while back when I asked te which princess fits which months? Most of te felt that Merida belongs into autumn because of her red hair. Thing is: I already had three princesses for autumn. In addition, I don't think that Ribelle - The Brave is actually set in fall, I think it is either spring o summer during the movie. So I hope that te are not too disappointed that I ended...

On the secondo giorno of Princess Walt Disney gave to me,
Two Lucky pals,
and the Wisdom of an old Tree

So as promised the secondo giorno of goodies with a new page for the calendar. I will, btw, carica all the calendar pages separately in the image section of the spot once my 12 days of princesses are done, and all of them have been revealed. I am pondering if I should also create a version which has all pages on one big sheet. If there is any interest in this, please comment. Also, if someone wants a different seize for the wallpaper then the three I am already offering, I am open for request. Speaking...

Wow, ok. It's been five years (oh lordy) since I last wrote one of these, and with a new princess officially in the lineup I think it's high time I revisited my list. Let's do this.

12. Rapunzel

Uuuuuuuuuuuuugh Rapunzellllllllllllllllllll I really wish I liked her più than I do. The funny thing is that I actually think she's a great character and she's also one of my most relatable DPs, but despite this she just doesn't do it for me. There are two primary reasons for this. Firstly, she is not a particularly believable character for me. Seriously, no one would be that socially well-rounded after...

Out of the entire princess lineup, only three of them were the biggest part of my childhood. Cenerentola was sorta part of my childhood but mainly the Brandi Norwood version because I preferred that one over the animated version. And I’m not counting Rapunzel because her movie came out when I was almost an adult.

3. Mulan

A lot of te might know that Mulan is my preferito princess and she’s been number 1 on my lista for years. I was 5 years old when I watched her movie on tape and I remember being so in Amore with her and the movie immediately. Mulan was one of the biggest feminist icone in my...

This is a movie I'm really not looking inoltrare, avanti to watching. I don't mind watching sequels because I used to Amore them so much when I was a kid but Mulan is one of my all-time preferito Film ever and this sequel is like on a Maleficent level of ruining original characters.

Tonight's rewatch: Mulan 2
Last time watched: 2005-2006

How much did I like this movie as a kid?
I saw the commercial for this movie when I was 11 and I was excited because, again, Mulan is one of my all-time preferito movies. I didn't actually watch the movie until I was 13 o 14 because I was starting middle school when this...

I'm really looking inoltrare, avanti to watching this one. Mulan was one of my preferito Film growing up!

How much did I like this movie as a kid?
I loved this movie when I was a kid! Mulan, both the movie and the character, was actually one of the reasons I became a feminist and why I Amore badass women (kinda why I don't 100% blame the revival era for people hating princesses who find Amore o aren't "kickass"). I used to sing the songs all the time when I was a kid and I loved any merch I could get (which wasn't a lot). I still have my stuffed Cri-Kee that...

This review was originally postato months fa but I deleted it because......I was gonna use it for a school assignment and I didn't wanna leave this up so my lecturer could cerca and accuse me of plagiarism. lmao

Anyway, I ended up not using it and I decided to put it back up.

So right off the bat, I have to say that this movie is very.....average. It honestly feels like a tv episode padded out with songs to make it feature length. Moana is a likable enough character, I can almost pinpoint exact moments where she's like precedente Disney female protagonists like Ariel, Pocahontas, Mulan and Rapunzel...
