Alright, it’s getting toward the end of summer, and before it’s over I thought I’d do something entirely superficial. The placements are based purely on looks alone, I’m just going to be entirely shallow. These are just my opinions, they’re weird, I know. This is going to get very long. By the end of the Disney Renaissance, layered characters weren’t enough. Now, the princesses had to be heroic as well. This is where Pocahontas and Mulan come in. Pocahontas saves her village and her prince. Mulan takes it up a notch and saves her country and her prince. Both princesses have been accused of problems with her personality. Pocahontas has been detto to lose it halfway through the movie. Mulan has been detto to have a flat personality.

Why do we feel the need to compare The Princess and the Frog with Tangled?

If I had to write an articolo which one of those Film is better, I know what the result would be. I consider Rapunzel - L'intreccio della torre the better movie because it has a cohesive story, better characters, better score, più impressive animazione – it just beats The Princess and the Frog in every aspect. But why is there this constant need to compare those two Film in the first place? I have never seen anyone comparing any of the Disney Princess Film with the one which came directly beforehand o after, unless it was for pointing out the development in animation.

I like the "romantic" song, I Amore the "I want" song, I Amore the beginning and I Amore the funny scenes, but for me, the most enjoyable scene of a movie is its climax. A good movie has to chill me in its action scenes even if it's the 30th time I'm watching it. So here I wrote an articolo explaining what are my 10 preferito final action scenes from DP movies. Oh yes, villain songs – though they are a fairly new Disney tradition, they tend to be one of the high points of every Disney movie. But I didn’t want to ignore the older ones, so I decided to include “villain themes” too. The only one I didn’t lista is “Cinderella” – there is some sort of Musica playing when Lady Tremaine locks her into the tower, but I wouldn’t call it her theme. Her menacing presence works più over the visuals, over the play with light and shadow, than over the sound. That’s not a bad thing, but let’s have a look how the right Musica can enhance a villain....
