te guys know the drill. :) Let's get right down to my preferito Disney Princess movies.

10) I know this is hugely predictable, but just like most people, I find Sleeping Beauty to be bland and a bit too devoid of Princess Aurora screentime to be interesting. There's no doubt that the animazione is beautiful and the characters are nice, but that's all they are: NICE. Of course, Maleficent is a great character, but a great villain doesn't a great movie make. Princess Aurora is a bit flat, and the great, mushy "moral" moments of the story (i.e. "the shield of virtue" and the "sword of truth") just seem a little schmaltzy. Sorry, Aurora, but your movie has landed pretty low on my list.

9) Pocahontas is a movie that I only watch every so often, and every time I watch it, it wraps a warm, fluffy blanket of nostalgia around me and I can settle in for a cozy, well-worn trip down memory lane. However, after the warm fuzzies are gone, I can't help but realize what a bland effort "Pocahontas" really is. The story is pretentious, the characters are dull, and the cutesy comedic-relief animali are just downright trite. I applaud the effort, but there was a lot done wrong here. I wish I could say that I cared più about the movie as a whole, but as it is, I just watch it when I want to feel like a child again.

8) Mulan is another one of those films that I enjoyed immensely as a child, but it didn't follow me into adulthood. While I applaud the story, the comedy, and the strong female lead, Mulan doesn't mean anything to me. It makes me laugh and I like watching it, but my preferito aspect of Disney Film is how powerful and transformative they can be. I like the concept of a girl who breaks free of societal norms and charges ahead in her own destiny, but Mulan is a film that I enjoy più in theory than in actual practice.

7) The Princess and the Frog is a film that is interesting on many levels, and not because it's a spectacular movie. It isn't, but it was a bold and controversial decision for Disney, and I respect a film with enough guts to try hard and fail hard. That said, I don't think it's a colossal misfire; the Musica is good, the sets are identical to what New Orleans actually looks like (except much cleaner,) and Tiana is a great addition to the Princess lineup. Is the plot preposterous? Well, yes, but the movie is genuinely funny and enjoyable as a whole.

6) At this moment, I've seen "Tangled" in theaters twice, and watching it a secondo time, I found myself considerably più sucked into the Amore story. Rapunzel herself is an interesting character; she's kind of the Amore child of Alice in Wonderland and Ariel, in my view, providing her a gleeful silliness that most of the others dont' have. Flynn's soppy backstory is a little tacked on, but it's still sweet and the gags between him and Maximus are funny. "Tangled's" position may rise o fall in the future, but for now, it's settled comfortably in the middle of my list.

5) As far as my childhood goes, Snow White was probably my preferito princess. One Christmas, I even got a Snow White doll, a magic mirror, two dress-up outfits, and a full set of dwarves! Therefore,Snow White is deeply ingrained in my memory and my heart, although I've only recently returned to it as an adult. It still provides all the warm fuzzies it once did, and while I don't think Snow White is the best character ever created, she's da no means the worst ones. I believe that the real stars here are the dwarves, who exemplify their titular trait and add lots of flair and creativity to a classic and captivating story.

4) Aladdin
Although I loved Aladdin as a little girl like everyone else, I drifted away from it as a teenager. My own mild dislike of gelsomino kept me away from it, and when it came on Televisione a few months ago, I watched it with a group of friends. Only then did I realize what a good movie it is; the characters are memorable, the songs are great, the comedy is groundbreaking, and the animazione is flawless, and when te superiore, in alto all of those qualities with a nice bit of nostalgia, you've got yourself a great experience.

3) My Amore of Cenerentola is relatively new. I liked the film as a child, of course, but she was never in my superiore, in alto favorites. My opinion of Cenerentola changed when I started my job in Walt Disney World. Since Cenerentola is considered the ruling monarch of Disney World (she is the one who lives in the big castle, after all) she appears everywhere, and just for giggles one day, I threw in the DVD and settled in for the night. I fell in Amore with this poor, sturdy-minded girl all over again and with new eyes. I believe she's a più complicated character than most people believe, and her classic beauty and timelessly effervescent attitude make her the epitome of a fairy tale princess. Is this the most action packed Disney movie ever? No, but it is a classic for a damn good reason, and is well worth repeated viewings.

2) Beauty and the Beast is indeed a tale as old as time, and it never gets old for me. Unlike the other Film I've mentioned, Beauty and the Beast doesn't just make me happy because it's a cozy childhood memory I can revisit when I need to; it works on every level, from romantic chemistry to the well-developed characters to the glorious music. Belle becomes più and più appealing as I get older, as does the plight of the Beast. Their romance is one of the greatest Amore stories ever told, and their real, flawed, lovable personalities make them iconic characters. Every viewing of Beauty and the Beast yields something new, and that's not something that can be detto of many movies.

1) There isn't a movie on the planet that I Amore più than I Amore The Little Mermaid. This is a film that is full of comfy nostalgia as well as an ever-changing appeal. Because i have so long related to Ariel, and consequently to the plot of the film, The Little Mermaid isn't really a film but a part of who I am. Settling in to watch it is a comforting, uplifting, and cathartic experience, and it isn't just my preferito Disney movie. It's my preferito movie. PERIOD.
