Let it Go: Lea Salonga vs Idina Menzel

Who's Canto voice do te choose? Jasmine?

Who's singing voice do you choose? Jasmine?

So, this song has been covered da a few artists, like Lucy Hale da turning it into a country version. Then, another Disney stella, star sang it, it is none other than Lea Salonga herself! Are te ready for a battle between Team Salonga and Team Menzel? Here we go!

Idina Menzel

While I enjoy her version, she's a bit pitchy in certain parts. Although at some parts she's very emotional and I like that, because she's very ominous like Elsa and I'm glad that I like her version.

Lea Salonga

Many of te know that she was the Canto voice of Mulan and Jasmine, when I heard her version. I thought that she sounds even better than Idina! I would not actually mind her voicing Elsa anyway.
But I guess that they don't want Elsa to sound like gelsomino and Mulan!

Conclusion

While both of them are good singers, I would say that Lea is the best singer out of these two!

Since it isn't so much left until Natale I decided to write a few articoli here on that theme, not sure how many I'll do, but here's the first one. te may not remember this song, but link in case te haven't heard the song. Anyway originally the song had the 6 first Disney Princesses Canto the song, but I decided to redo the song a bit da adding 6 new princesses and their parts has new lyrics. Updated ranking of the DP Film

What I will write will be similar to what I wrote on the last article. Most of my opinions are the same except for Aladdin. I wanted to write an updated articolo because I finally rewatched Aladdin. Please no rude comments. Enjoy!

12. Brave- I despise this movie I really don't like Merida. While she may be a strong I think she is just rude and annoying. The film is so forgettable. I haven't seen the film in about 4 years and I don't plan on seeing it again.

Inspired da link, who did an amazing job(! <3), I really wanted to do my own version with preferito Openings. I actually really Amore the original fairy tale concept of the Disney Princesses and I Amore the openings that give a più magical and fairy tale kind of feel. (By the way, I am primarily trying to stick to the first 2-4 minutes.) So here is my ranking of the DP film openings, I hope te guys enjoy this light read! :D

My superiore, in alto 10 preferito songs from DP Film

Here's my quick top10 preferiti of Disney Princess movie songs. I get stuck to a new tune o lyrics far easily, if its hummable and peppy especially. I like listening to songs and don't have particular fixed tastes in genres. Though i find, i tend to gravitate towards pop, rock and Indian music. Very rarely I enjoy classical music, although some that I Amore become my all time preferiti and they don't die-out. I guess that's how classic Musica is. Anyways, this is my current lista of superiore, in alto 10 favrorites songs from DP movies, it keeps changing for sure as I sposta onto newer songs.

The Classics (& Such DPs) Are Unrealistic....

.... o Are They? I keep hearing this massive distortion that Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora and sometimes others are "unrealistically perfect". Well first of all, they're not actually "perfect" but yes they strive for it and come pretty close. The number one reason? The earlier DPs were made in a time where families were still valued as well as good morals and they were on their best behavior in front of children, hoping that the kids would learn to embrace positive traits and reject negative traits so they would be più positive people. They cared più about well-roundedness, being modest...

Merida: A character review in her defense

Okay, so I have come across a lot of criticism against Merida that she is childish, rude, reckless, selfish and what not. But since she's my 2nd preferito princess, i'd like to put up a case in her favor for people to consider and see her in better light. I have tried to dissect the movie scenes, probed into possible perspective on various minor details that may have been overlooked.

Why she isn't sophisticated as others:
She no doubt loves both her mother and father, but Merida takes off a part of feisty, loud and unapologetically honest side from her father. She loves to fight with him, laughing...

13. 3 good fate put the entire kingdom to sleep:
Despite their best of efforts, they lose Aurora to the spell and the only way to make things work is to put the entire kingdom to sleep, waking only when she awakens. It makes me sad to see them blame themselves for this loss. It doesn't make me cry though, but yes, it puts me in a sad mood.

So I've been Leggere that the "Prettiest Princess" ranking is sort of like a right of passage articolo that all of the fan here on fanpop do so I figured it was time for my own. Instead of just doing a physical beauty ranking, I wanted to do an complessivamente, generale beauty ranking instead. I personally see ranking women based only on their physical beauty as objectifying them so I am kind of confused that it's not looked at that way here on fanpop? I'm talking about character stylization in the sense that when the artist is also the autore of the character's personality and has written out their every thought in simply the way they are designed. This can also be called "interpreted art" as anyone can perceive it differently, but a common factor still remains that everyone agrees on. This song reminds me of the scene in the woods after she's been scared da the dark shadowed shapes of the trees. When she asks the animali what they would do and starts Canto With a Smile and a Song. Well this be an alternative song o whilst she' Canto she could be imagining her favourite things. I can also Snow White Canto this. It does require a positive sounding vocal so it makes sense.

She's the only Disney Princess that I don't like at all, but I don't dislike her either, I feel neutral towards her.
