While Cinderella and PatF in votes, more people commented against PatF. That's why it has left the countdown. Let this be a lesson about how much comment count.
Cinderella isn't that impressive, but Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo plus the use of colour is amazing.

All six of those films have lovely animation, but it's definitely Cinderella's time to go. Her animation doesn't compare to the others.

I agree....I didn't vote the movie out earlier, due to the fact that it last has consistent and good animation (something one can't say about a lot of the later movies, in which the animation overall is more sloppy), and one can see that a lot of care went into it, but it's not as revolutionary as the other movies left.

It's a little outdated for my taste. For a first film it's great it's just not the best. I love the colors in Cinderella even if it is simple. I think it's beautiful and just has a better look than Snow White.

But the question to me is, how can Tangled be better than Cinderella. It's very impressive how the hand-drawn animation there would look so beautiful, and in some scenes the background DID look like it was painted, so you can't be biased and go with Sleeping Beauty. In Tangled, they used the blending very beautifully, but there's not much more. The rest of the beauty can only be explained by the use of it being CGI.

Again, sloppy. In Cinderella, at least all of the characters are consistent (how DOES Belle do that?) and not only that, but the backgrounds and color as well (if there is one flaw in Sleeping Beauty's animation, it's that the colors can often change from scene to scene.) The scale is also incredible. And this was done entirely by hand and with hand-inked cells, so the color consistency is especially impressive. I guess Beauty and the Beast gains some points for innovation considering it was the first to have a scene completely done in CGI, but it wasn't really consistent with the rest of the film, and even the way the dress moved made it seem like computer. However, I couldn't really tell because the rest of the film's animation is so inconsistent that it didn't seem out of place!

I think it's kind of like Patf, but the use of colors in Cinderella is much more captivating.

Definitely Cinderella's time to go IMO... the only scenes that I find impressive (animation-wise) are "Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo", "Sing Sweet Nightingale" with the bubbles and the scenes towards the end in the palace.

The animation is nice but not so impressive overall.

I already gave my reasons. There's only one moment in the whole movie, when I found the animation impressive!

@hajirah4 Tangled is better because it is a huge step forward in CGI animation. It's something not often talked about, but the hair in Tangled, not just Rapunzel's but also Mother Gothel's is downright impressive. When people now speak of Meridas hair, they totally forgot that this wouldn't have been possible without the work put into Tangled. Also the animation of the water, the textures, really everything movies perfectly, and while it is easier to put details in CGI animation, it is notable that the makers of Tangled bothered, while a lot of CGI movies beforehand didn't (not in that extend). The animation of the facial expressions of the character is also done perfectly. What is so special about Tangled are actually not scenes like the flying laterns (though they look great, too), but that everything in this movie seems so effordless, when in truth, this movie was a big challenge to animate.
Cinderella's animation is flawless, but it is not revolutionary in terms of animation.

Some parts of this could have been better even if this was the first one. Partly backgrounds are dull compared to others parts and animation looks like Popeye in random scenes. I think Cinderella's animation is one of the best, it may not carried animation's progress so much but it really is best achievement of that time's animation. My other choises would be Tangled and in principle all the rest. In Tangled Rapunzel's hair length bothers me because it change in different scenes and is too unnatural. These movies which are left are really same level to me, I don't think I could judge between them since none of them are complete flawless.

Too many mice in this movie. The only good animation is the dress transformation.

My next choice would be Tangled.

I love Cinderella's animation style! The dress transformation is gorgeous, the whole Bibidi Babidi Boo sequence actually, and I love the all the detail put into the backgrounds. The characters are also nicely animated.
I also love Pocahontas' animation but I have to pick it. My favorite sequences are Colors of the Wind, Savages and the final scene.
