I absolutely love all of these movies! They're all high on my list, and I really don't want to vote for any of them...

It's not surprising that it had several administrative changes.
I also HATE when movies have messages like this. ALL men are thuggish and buffoonish idiots! ALL women are so superior! But there is only one way to be a STRONG WOMAN! And that is to act the exact same way as all the men we find so buffoonish!

The sad thing is that it had so much potential, but they didn't use this potential to their advantage. They could have thought up such a good/complex plot with the exact same setting, title & characters, yet the finished product is just extremely flat and uninspiring, with an extremely lackluster plotline which for me is the biggest downfall of the movie. The animation is nice, but that's it.

^^^^Agree with the both of you above- the messages were not the greatest coming out of Brave, gender equality does not mean bashing men. As other Princesses have proved, you can be strong and fall in love/get married. Women everyday do that. That's why I hated that the media pronounced her as the first pro-female Princess- not true. Ariel was, being strong and independent started with her. Cindy and Aurora having moments of being independent even. Snow White not really.

Off topic, what the heck is Merida wearing.? WHOO! Looks like she could be in the Sin City movie.

Jayden-G picked Pocahontas:
Since this is about the WORST and not LEAST FAVOURITE, it is definitely Pocahontas. This film has some serious pacing problems, weak characterizations, and it does not know if it wants to be more kiddy to adult but not appealing to either. The plot is extremely small and is not well executed, and it has one of the least developed characters out of the 4. Brave at least has a well paced plot and realized characters.

On a side note, because of its disadvantages I still question how it won an Oscar. There is something very fishy about that situation. Even people who said they enjoyed Brave said, they shouldn't have given it the Oscar. Hmm......under the table stuff maybe. Wouldn't be the first questionable Oscar.

While Pocahontas shamelessly ass rapes a very sensitive history
the only thing that movie has going for it is the awesome music and gorgeous visual style.

But the only thing Brave has going for it is it's visuals

^^ The Oscars for that so very suspicious to me too. There are MANY films that came of that year that were considered better than Brave and deserved it more, but Brave still won. Which is why I am worried about the Oscars 2014 putting MU in favour.

I think this is one of the most overrated Disney films. I really never understood the hype. I like it. It has a great message. But other than that I just don't see what's so special.

I agree with Jayden-G. Also, I think you guys are missing the main message of the movie - it's about a daughter's broken relationship with her mother and how she mends it. She isn't trying to prove herself to the men of her society, she's trying to prove herself to her mother.
