	KataraLover picked Merida: This is EASY! Ariel is incredibly heroic! She saves both herself and Flounder from the Shark, saves Eric twice, and kills the two evil minions! The fact that she's one of the few Disney Princesses who actually kill somebody (who's evil of course) should give her plenty of credits as at least more heroic than Merida and Belle. Merida on the other hand is a total damsel in distress. She has to be saved by her mother from Mordu, then she has to do it again, and again in the climax. Plus she gets locked in a room and has to be saved by her three little brothers. All she does is save her mother by chopping off an inch of her father's wooden leg. Ariel has done WAY more than that! She deserves to beat Merida! Ariel is completely capable of taking care of herself and would've eventually found a way to defeat Ursula herself if Eric wasn't there. Merida, for someone who knows how to sword fight and do archery, is totally useless. Merida may not have a prince to save her but she has her mother instead. posted più di un anno fa.

	LupinPrincess picked Ariel: ^^ Oh come on! Merida came to her mothers rescue, throwing chairs at her door and shooting an arrow against her fathers sword and chopping off her fathers wooden leg! Completely over taking the entire clan around her. Merida was totally brave and badass! Fighting her own family! That takes nerve and courage to fight someone u love while Ariel, happened to be there to save Eric, yeah that was so hard....and flounder? That's not impressive, and pulling on Ursula's hair and killing the eels? A lucky mistake, ariels didn't necessarily know it would destroy the eels, and if merida is weak cuz her mom saved her than ariel is weak for letting eric save her, ur contradicting urself! And Mordu is a monster that couldnt even be killed by armies of skilled warriors, ur gonna call merida a damsel for running away from him? oh yeah cuz ariel canbeat that bear? really??? not even mum bear could kill him, it took a giant rock! to quote Dumbledore "It takes a great deal of bravery to stand up to your enemies, but a great deal more, to stand up to your friends/family" Which Merida did posted più di un anno fa.
