Actually I think none of them were really involved. But I'll go with Charming because Cindy seemed to be overall ok with never seeing him again after the ball, while Charming, according to the duke, said he wouldn't marry other girl.

People blame Prince for not going after her, but they forget it was his father who arranged everything. He had to take a chance and see if he could find the girl by the slipper. Of course he wasn't going to marry any girl.

Cinderella seemed to think she would never see the man at the ball again, so she just kind of left him behind, only in her dreams, and focused on other things.
