Ariel, Cinderella, and Snow White. These three, because their parents either died, or married again. The step-parents and/or biological parent who remained were cruel and heartless to them at a young age. And when compared to all of the rest of the lineup women...these three girls had the most abusive family lives, and the most justified reasons to run away to a ball, flee into the forest, and flee onto land.

In their own ways, they each left a horrible life behind them.

Well, I am not sure. We don't know much about their CHILDHOODs. The exact ages when they lost their parent(s) weren't given.

I see Adelital's point. Just depends how lengthy the abuse was. We know that Rapunzel was taken very young and Gothel has probably been emotionally abusive her whole life. But, Cinderella & Snow White's treatment was worse.

"Troubled chilhood" and "troubled life" are not the same. I agree that Cinderella had more troubled LIFE.

She most likely never knew her parents while Cinderella had at least her father who treated her well.

Cinderella or Snow White, but at least Snow White probably has a few privileges since she was born royalty.

They actually say "abused and humiliated", as well as lost both parents I'm not minimizing Rapunzel's issues but she was at worst discontent in the tower and at best found constructive ways to entertain herself, had Pascal and tried to ake her home life happy and cozy for herself and Gothel.

I would pick Snow since she was, well, almost murdered twice, but we don't really know how young she was when Grimhilde took over.
