I dont know in the USA, but in my country Mulan and Pocahontas (specially Poca) were NEVER featured in toys, clothes, posters or anything. ONLY in some books, cause they need to have more pages and they 2 were helful for that.

I always felt like Pocah and Mulan were 2º level Princesses, that they were featured when they needed to have a bigger group of Princesses, but the original 6 were like the REAL members of the franchise.

So now, when people say there are 5 POC princesses, I always think about the way Pocahontas and Mulan were featured just in the 5% of the products, so it was a fake representation.

Mostly the 6 first + Mulan (and sometimes Pocahontas), from what I remember. I really didn't know much about most of the princesses because my parents didn't want me to watch "girly" movies a lot.

Didn't you ask this question already? I thought I remember answering this but maybe I'm wrong. I always saw these six girls on everything. I think occasionally Pocahontas was included but she was pretty rare.

These six were the most iconic and could be found everywhere like others have said. I always thought Alice, Tinker Bell, and Pocahontas were guest members since I saw them included most frequently.

They are most popular in my country. Although I have recently noticed that Pocahontas is becoming more popular than Aurora so maybe she is included too??
