Yesterday, I did round 2 on the 5 remaining renaissance films, and some of the results were definitely not as predictable as round 1. te guys voted which one is better, and these are the results.

The Hunchback of Notre Dame vs Mulan

Both films were released after a dissapointing predecessor, and both stories have a Amore plot, but is very minor. There is not much similar about these films, as thre protagonist of HOND is a male, and the protagonist is a female. The results for this one is not a suprise at all, as HOND is definitely più overlooked than Mulan, and that Mulan is più balanced than HOND. People detto thar Mulan is a bit better in most aspects, and that the gargoyles really ruined The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Most people liked both Film and consider them masterpieces, but Mulan is a bit più popular, and più balanced. Mulan took 71% of the votes, moving to the semi-finals, and HOND joining the round 1 losers.

The Little Mermaid vs Aladdin vs The Lion King

These three films are easily the most popular, and a few of the best Disney films out there, so we all knew this battle was going to be close. These films were released at the peak of the Disney Renaissance, and renewed people's interest in Disney after their reputation faded in the 70s and 80s. These films have the most memorable songs, the best Disney couples and characters, the best Villains, and the best animation. When this sondaggio finishsed, it ended as a THREE WAY TIE. I knew it was going to be close, but this was too close. Another movie was supposed to be eliminated after Hunchback, but at the last minute, nothing. I was praying that someone would break the tie, but nope. Each film got 33% of the votes, and all are moving to the semi-finals. I guess that is what happens when te release three of Disney's best at a battle of the best.

Since only Hunchback went home, there will be TWO Film being put to the curb, and the remaining two will fight in the final round of Renaissance Film vs Renaissance Film. If te want your favourite movie to make it to the finals, vote on the successivo poll, and comment. The finalists will be revealed tomorrow.

When it comes to the making of The Jungle Book, there is this story that Walt Disney saw the first storyboards, was dissatisfied with them, and finally put a new team of animators on it. He gave each of them an exemplar of The Jungle Book and then ordered them NOT to read the book. And if te pay attention you’ll notice that the movie claims to be “inspired” da the Jungle Book, rather than being an adaptation.
So I decided to do it different this time around. Rather than pointing out the difference, I will give a short overview of The Jungle Book, and then I’ll look at the plot of the...
