They accelerated their steps, but Damon was heavy to carry and the fuoco was catching up with them.
“Damon, please, try to walk faster” Jeremy said. His neck and shoulders hurt.
“I can’t” Damon detto weak. He braked.
“Damon, what are te doing?” Elena sighed. Her shoulders hurt too.
“I can’t” Damon repeated. “You have to leave me here. I’m holding te up”
“Shut up, Damon” Elena said, having no mercy. She forced him to keep walking.
“I’m going to get te killed” Damon said.

Jeremy opened his eyes and looked around. He was in the hospital, but everything was bright and it was extremely quiet.

“I’m fine” Jeremy detto for the seventh time. Caroline had brought him to the hospital, along with Bonnie.
“I think I should make that decision, don’t te think?” the doctor said. It was the same that had taken care of his hand. “Now, will te please lay down so I can check if te have any broken ribs?”
Jeremy reluctantly lay down on the hospital letto and pulled up his shirt, like the doctor had asked him.
“Does this hurt?” she asked, pressing the right side of his stomach. Jeremy shook his head. “And this?”

“What do te think I want? I want te to take away whatever’s keeping me in check. I want te to undo the spell te put on Elena” Bonnie shook her head, looking desperate. “I can’t, Damon, I’m sorry” Damon grabbed her neck, pressing her wound. She screamed. “And why can’t you?” he asked his voice caught in his throat. “The only way to free te is to kill me”
