As first reported by Stitch Kingdom back in March, Disney today confirmed a series of new shorts based on a new franchise titled

. As also reported by Stitch Kingdom, the franchise will kick off this summer with a book release from Random House titled

The 224 page book positions itself as an adaptation of the new franchise’s storyline, with the publisher’s descriptions as follows:
