sparkylanders I Feel De-feeted! Everybody taking images of Felicity Smoak and Emily Bett Ricards must do better. Please? This young lady has posed for some wonderful photo shoots. But, I keep seeing a lot of pictures where about mid-thigh on down is missing! My dad was a prolific picture taker. He wasn't a pro, but he took care about his framing to avoid two things: cutting off peoples' heads and their feet. He didn't have anything fancy, mainly Kodak cameras. Without a zoom lens, he would often reposition himself to make sure "all of everybody" was in the picture. Remember, in the good old days of film, you couldn't check right away to see if everything came out right like you can with digital, so he took his time while his dear children's eyeballs fried with the sun in our faces while he got ready. Now, here’s what I am talking about (first frame, above). This has to be one of Emily Bett Rickards' top photoshoot shots that proves beyond a doubt that she is “more than just a pretty face.” In fact, I haven’t seen many pictures without most of her face, except when her backside is featured. I realize this might have been cropped to fit in the space allotted for an article, but I hope the photographer didn’t forget her feet! The way she rocks footwear is legendary! Imagine this shot with some of the heels she’s worn on “Arrow”, or, as we will see, barefoot works very well, also. Sure, there’s some ink there, but that’s what blur filters and other digital editing features are for. If anyone has the full frame somewhere and it is okay to share, I’m sure many of us would like to see it.
