Damon and Elena were standing in front of Bonnie’s house, waiting for Bonnie to open up. Elena looked from the door to Damon, seeming to be uncomfortable. “Maybe te should let me do the talking” she suggested. “Like te said, te and Bonnie are not the best friends” Damon pursed his lips. “Suuuure, all te want” he detto with a smirk and a wink. The door went open and Bonnie looked at them. “Hi, Elena” she detto and hugged her friend. She looked at Damon as if he was dirt. “Sorry, but I’m not going to hug you” “But that would’ve been the highlight of my day!” Damon detto sarcastic, which gained him an angry eyeshot from Elena. “Don’t play games with me, Damon” Bonnie said. “Say what te want and get the hell out of here” Elena made a step forward. “We need your help” she showed her the necklace. “We need te to put a spell on this, so it can protect people from the sun” Bonnie’s face stiffened. “By people te mean vampires, I assume” she detto with a cold voice that didn’t suit her, but that usually was reserved for Damon. “Well, yeah” Elena detto reluctantly. Bonnie shook her head. “I can’t believe you’re asking me this, Elena. I’m going against all of my believes if I do this. Last time I helped them I almost Lost Jeremy! I won’t go through that again!” she detto upset. She turned to Damon. “This is your idea, isn’t it? Of course it is. Only te can come up with something that tactless. te really have no shame-whoah” Bonnie Lost her balance and Damon caught her da her shoulders, pushing her back on her feet. “Bonnie, are te okay?” Elena asked concerned. She nodded. “Damon, let’s go” Elena detto softly. “She’s right. We were wrong to ask her” She and Damon turned around and walked away.
“Wait!” they heard a few secondi later. They turned around again, waiting for Bonnie to catch up with them. “Who do te want to protect?” she asked serious.
“It’s not that I want it” Elena started. “But we have to protect Katherine. We need her to find Stefan back. She knows Klaus better than Damon and I”
“How do te know she’s not playing tricks with you? Maybe she will lead te right in his arms” Bonnie said.
“I survived him once. Facing him again is a risk I’ll have to take” Elena answered.
“And what if Damon and Katherine are cooperating in killing you? Offering te to Klaus to get Stefan back?” Bonnie continued.
“I can’t speak for Katherine, but I know I can trust Damon” Elena said.
“Why?” Bonnie asked unbelieving.
Elena looked at Damon and he looked back right in her eyes. “I have my reasons” she softly said.

They heard the door close and wondered who came barging in, until a familiar, female and British voice solved the mystery.
“Anyone home?” Rebekah called from downstairs.
“Ugh” Damon sighed. “I’ll go” He stood up and walked to the door, but when he wanted to open it, the door was slammed in his face and Rebekah barged in. She held a guy in her right hand and a blood bag in her left hand.
“What are te doing here?” Elena asked tired.
“I came to apologize” Rebekah explained flighty, while she tossed the bag to Damon. “I was wrong to bite you. It’s just that I busted Stefan smooching with that vamp strumpet and te look like her, so I got carried away. I don’t understand what it is that draws Stefan to women with your appearances. You’re not even that pretty”
“I appreciate your honesty” Elena commentato sarcastically.
“Hey, I’m as open as your legs were last night” Rebekah replied blunt and Elena’s cheeks turned red.

The successivo morning.
Jo woke up, because someone was banging the door.
“Mr. Allen? Open the door!” a female voice said.
Jo stumbled out of letto and wiped her eyes. She walked to the door and opened it. There were two inspectors, a man and a woman.
“Good morning, miss. I’m inspector Roberts, this is my colleague inspector Williams” Isabel said, mostrare her badge. “We need to talk to Emmanuel Allen. We were told we could find him here”
Jo frowned and shook her head. “I don’t know anyone with that name. te have the wrong house”
Inspector Williams searched in his bag and conjured a picture. “Maybe this might help you?” he said. Jo’s eyes widened and she took the picture. “I know him” she admitted. “But his name’s not Emmanuel. It’s Castiel”
