Caroline and Tyler dropped on the ground. They looked up and discovered they were outside. A red glow enlightened the scene and the sun was slowly rising.
“Good thing Bonnie gave him back his ring” Tyler said.
“Can te please not say that name?” Caroline asked. “I don’t want to think about what she got me involved into, let alone hear her name, especially not from you”
Tyler took her hand and nipped it softly. “I’m sorry’
“ ‘s Okay” Caroline said, treating him with a little smile.
“Ehm, shouldn’t they have come out da now?” Tyler asked looking at Bonnies house.
Inside, underneath the ground, Elena and Jeremy dragged Damon through the maze. But they barely saw anything and they couldn’t count on Damon’s usually sharp look.
“Just go straight ahead” Jeremy said. “Worst thing that can happen we bump into a wall”
And so they slowly stepped through the maze.
“What do te think would’ve changed her mind?” Jeremy asked. Elena didn’t answer. “I’m sorry, I know te don’t want to talk about it, but…”
“Jeremy?” Elena interrupted her little brother. “I understand you’re hurt. She betrayed te just as much as she did me. But right now I think the most important thing is to get us out of here”
Jeremy nodded.
“Elena” he held his steps.
“Jeremy, please” Elena begged.
“No, wait” Jeremy said. “I smell something”
“Fire” Damon mumbled.
Elena and Jeremy looked up. Far ahead of them they saw an arancia, arancio light.
“We have to go back” Elena detto panicking as the fuoco searched its way to the three of them.
“Bonnie” Jeremy said.
“Yes, we can’t let her die” Elena agreed.
“No, that’s not what I mean” Jeremy said. He nodded at the fire. “She didn’t change her mind”

“Daphne? It’s time to let me go” Martin detto soft.
Daphne lifted her head and stared at him with wet and bloodshot eyes. “How? I can’t”
“It’s time for me to sposta on” Martin said. “I’ve been wandering around for too long. I’m done here. If I stay much longer, I could turn into a vengeful spirit”
Daphne shook her head. “I don’t believe that”
“You didn’t believe I would mostra up in the first place, either” Martin pointed out.
Daphne pulled her shoulders. “How do I let te go? Aren’t te supposed to walk into the light o something?”
Martin laughed. “Not exactly. te have to salt and burn my bones”
“So I need to go to the cemetery?” Daphne asked.
“No. That grave is empty” Martin detto bitter.
“Then where are your bones?” Daphne asked nervous.
“You’re standing on them” Martin answered.

The waitress walked through the back door. She was taking a break. She felt two eyes on her and looked aside.
Cas was staring at her.
“Hi” she said. She walked to him. “You were recitazione strange earlier”
“I’m sorry” Cas mumbled. “You remind me of someone”
“Your girlfriend?” the waitress guessed.
Cas shook his head. “She wasn’t my girlfriend. She was my…”
“Sex buddy” the waitress helped. “I’m Lucy”
“I’m Cas” Cas said.
“Cas?” Lucy detto intrigued. “That’s an uncommon name” She came closer to him and took his collar. She dragged him into one of the toilets and locked the door. She threw her arms around his neck and jumped in his arms. She kissed him and Cas forced her against the wall.
“Aaaahhh!” she exclaimed. She pushed Cas away and looked at him terrified.
“I’m sorry” Cas mumbled concerned.
“It’s okay” Lucy said, but Cas unlocked the door and ran away.

The successivo morning
Cas opened the door of the house and helped Daphne inside. He guided her to the sitting room and put her gently down on the couch.
“You know, I’ve been thinking” Daphne said. “With te around I don’t need a car. Makes things a lot cheaper”
“Can I get te something?” Cas asked.
Daphne shook her head. “You’re here. That’s enough for now”
Cas wasn’t used to that much gratitude and he’d have to adjust to it.
“Actually” Daphne started. “Could te give me the phone? I need to call the locksmith to tell him I won’t be needing his services after all. I gave Zoey her key back”
Cas smiled weak. “I’m glad te made it up with each other”
