It was the successivo morning. Bonnie slowly opened her eyes. She saw a silhouette sitting successivo to her bed, but her view was too blurry to see who it was.
After a minuto o three the room became sharper and Bonnie could see who the visitor was. She looked Caroline afraid in the eyes.
“Hi” Caroline detto soft.
“Hi” Bonnie detto hoarse and shy. “How long have I been here?”
“About 24 hours” Caroline answered. Bonnie nodded. “How, eh, how’s Elena doing?...And Damon?” she asked careful.
“They’re okay, considering what happened” Caroline said. “They’re dealing with it”
Bonnie tried to sat up and groaned. She put her hand on the bandage around her tummy and pulled a painful face.
“I can heal that for te if te want to” Caroline offered.
Bonnie shook her head. “No, thanks” she said. “This pain will remind me of the horrible things I’ve done. I need to feel it”
She started crying, but Caroline didn’t move, didn’t do any effort to console her friend. “I’m so sorry, Caroline” she sobbed. “I wish I had a concussion o even better, memory loss, but I don’t. I remember every single thing I’ve done and when they release me I won’t be able to avoid Elena forever”
“Why did te do it? Why did te have to take it that far?” Caroline asked sad.
“I got consumed da all those powers” Bonnie cried. “I know it’s not an excuse, but I don’t have a better one. I saw a chance to get back at Damon for all the things he’s done, but in all my hate I didn’t see the good things he’s done as well…They will never forgive me”
That Caroline didn’t have a reply on.
“I’m sorry I dragged te into this” Bonnie detto soft. Caroline nodded, accepting her apologies.
“You’ll have to face them someday” Caroline said. “And if I were te I’d rather do it sooner than later”

“Daphne? It’s time to let me go” Martin detto soft.
Daphne lifted her head and stared at him with wet and bloodshot eyes. “How? I can’t”
“It’s time for me to sposta on” Martin said. “I’ve been wandering around for too long. I’m done here. If I stay much longer, I could turn into a vengeful spirit”
Daphne shook her head. “I don’t believe that”
“You didn’t believe I would mostra up in the first place, either” Martin pointed out.
Daphne pulled her shoulders. “How do I let te go? Aren’t te supposed to walk into the light o something?”
Martin laughed. “Not exactly. te have to salt and burn my bones”
“So I need to go to the cemetery?” Daphne asked.
“No. That grave is empty” Martin detto bitter.
“Then where are your bones?” Daphne asked nervous.
“You’re standing on them” Martin answered.

The waitress walked through the back door. She was taking a break. She felt two eyes on her and looked aside.
Cas was staring at her.
“Hi” she said. She walked to him. “You were recitazione strange earlier”
“I’m sorry” Cas mumbled. “You remind me of someone”
“Your girlfriend?” the waitress guessed.
Cas shook his head. “She wasn’t my girlfriend. She was my…”
“Sex buddy” the waitress helped. “I’m Lucy”
“I’m Cas” Cas said.
“Cas?” Lucy detto intrigued. “That’s an uncommon name” She came closer to him and took his collar. She dragged him into one of the toilets and locked the door. She threw her arms around his neck and jumped in his arms. She kissed him and Cas forced her against the wall.
“Aaaahhh!” she exclaimed. She pushed Cas away and looked at him terrified.
“I’m sorry” Cas mumbled concerned.
“It’s okay” Lucy said, but Cas unlocked the door and ran away.

The successivo morning
Cas opened the door of the house and helped Daphne inside. He guided her to the sitting room and put her gently down on the couch.
“You know, I’ve been thinking” Daphne said. “With te around I don’t need a car. Makes things a lot cheaper”
“Can I get te something?” Cas asked.
Daphne shook her head. “You’re here. That’s enough for now”
Cas wasn’t used to that much gratitude and he’d have to adjust to it.
“Actually” Daphne started. “Could te give me the phone? I need to call the locksmith to tell him I won’t be needing his services after all. I gave Zoey her key back”
Cas smiled weak. “I’m glad te made it up with each other”
