fanpop Users Article: quiz to do with users

I have noticed a lot of quiz containing phrases such as "which icona has user never used?" o "where have user never been?" and that is it. This is creating poorly worded quiz as all of them could change if the user does travel to such a place and says it on here, o they do end up changing their icona to one in the question.

If te would like to create a quiz with this kind of wording, in brackets at the end either put the data (20 June '08) (20/06/08) (June 08) (06/08)...the best one I would recommend to use is "June 08" as the day/month is reverse in countries such as the US and it's short.

Papa wrote a great articolo on how to make quizzes, which is link, but it seems like not many people are following his great suggestions (although is has been rated a whopping 79 times so people must have read it to know all his suggestions)

So please try if you're creating quiz like the ones I mentioned, to watch out for any problems happening in the future that may alter the answer. Just add the date.

(I wrote this soapbox here as this is where most of these specific quiz are being made)

aholic Funny you should say that because I've made a quiz like "What country have aholic never been to?" but I always remember the to write down the date. Also in the Europe quizzes. If I ask if a country is a EU member state, then I always remember to add the date. I haven't noticed any users making these mistakes but I'm more busy making quizzes than answering :)

claire-aka-bob i have made one about myself asking how many times have i changed my profile picture, i suppose that donsn't count as i have never changed it and dont plan to ♥

amazondebs yeah i have also noticed people askeding questions that no one could possibly know e.g. if i were to ask "what's amazondeb's dad's name?" because i have never mentioned it here on fanpop how on earth is anyone meant to know that? fair enough if you have commented on it a few times but we're not psychic lol

dazl In complete agreement with you, Snerkie. I don't bother with these questions, to me they are the equivalent of the 'do you like me' picks.

harold This is inspiring me to publish my guide to quizzes, which I put on ice when papa actually posted his a few minutes before me. I'll dust it off now.

stephaniekayser Will be making up a quiz pretty soon and no one needs to worry about unrrlated absolutelt pointless questions lol. People need to just grow up a bit and be a little bit more realistic. This is a rat fan site...now "WHAT IS THE NAME OF BLAH BLAH'S DAD?" Who cares... Please people. nobody's perfect

When i first came to fanpop i didn't really do anything much but make the occasional pick and watch video but when i did start to contribute più it was because of the nice commenti and messages that fan sent me that made me a addict.

I Amore to contribute for others but i Amore it even più when someone shows that they appreciate it weather it be a prop, a nice commento o message o simply rating it.
If fan hadn't of been so nice i probably wouldn't spend even a quarter of much time on fanpop as i do now, as the best thing is talking and joking with the Friends I've made on here.
