Medal whores are users that use fanpop to get medals, I do Amore getting medaglie I have to admit although I don't have many.

I have now changed my attitude towards medals, I used to try to get them but know it is becoming less of an interest to me. This is because of medal whores, some make fake accounts, add unnecessary stuff to spots and then rate there contributions themselves. I think it is very unfair on other users and it use to really annoy me - It still does a bit.

Anyway I know this annoys other users too but just think medal whores are sad enough to make fakes just to get a red dot on there spots and te (if te are not a medal whore) enjoy yourself on fanpop and te earn your medaglie without cheating.

I know some people think there shouldn't be medaglie but I don't want them to go, even tho it would get rid of all the medal whores.

I also think the current rating system is helping medal whores as they can be più secretive with there fakes as it doesn't mostra how many people have rated on most contribution.

So don't make a fake it will be a big mistake as te won't enjoy fanpop properly and will be cheating yourself.

P.S. If te are a Medal Whore that doesn't have fake accounts o post irrelevant stuff to spots then te are probably alright.

amazondebs what do you mean cammie? i totally don't care about by medals.......*to the side* i don't mean that dave please don't take away my red buffy :P i think the new rating system can help in some way because people won't know whether their content has been rated once or 20 times so they won't know how close they are to getting a medal of that makes any sense?

want2watcheroes I get what your saying but it they will know how many times there fake accounts have rated but we can't see so they would get away with it.

em_em I don't have any problem with medal whores! As long as you are fair! Don't go setting up other accounts or adding repeated content to a spot (I know its hard to know if its a repeat sometimes but go check. If you are really that dedicated to a spot then surely you've been through most of the images and videos anyway so should have some idea!) If you are a true fan and are adding decent stuff which is getting rated fairly (because is credited and keyword well) good on you and yeah you can whore around as much as you want (medal wise of course!) LOL Why try to cheat the system, seriously find a better hobby! And ggrrr at you!

Katreader I was so excited when I received my first medal. I even wrote an article about it. I was thrilled, and somewhat surprised, when I received my second medal. Recently I've noticed what I would consider medal whoring, not the fake accounts, although I have seen some-can't they just be deleted?-but people who seemingly go through a dictionary and add a link to every word. It also irks me when people add several items of content and yet don't rate at least some of the unrated content already there. To me this is whoring...and not in a good way. I'll continue to add all sorts of content-some of which doesn't even get viewed, let alone rated. But I do it because I enjoy it...and maybe I'll get another medal.

amazondebs ha ha ha yes we be the proper whores in the brothel, not those on the streets using tricks.....yes i used such a sutble metaphor I get what your saying but if you suspect a fake account the f4 can still check it, i guess the new medal system has pros and cons at the end of the say though, the people who don't cheat the system can be happy knowing that they don't when they recieve medals

spikes_girl i'm with you. i love getting medals, it always makes my day to see a new green dot on my profile, but it's not the point of adding content.

ineedcoffee ok here is an idea for every submission you put in before it is accepted you have to rate as many as you have submitted, that would be fair...lol

ineedcoffee I agree that would solve the problem with the mac vs the pc users as well. then they can dole out the medals accordingly and you would weed out those who are in it just for the medals.

amazondebs but we can still rate more than we have added? hmmmm good idea on paper but people would still rate and then cheat lol or what about the poor countess who can not rate

ineedcoffee I never new the countess couldn't rate I just thought she had to go to the library to do it.

amazondebs well she can rate at the library when she's down there but that's why hey rating is so low and yet she comments on loads of stuff

nmdis I agree, I lost my fanatic (actually 2 fanatics) randomly so I asked few people to rate my stuffs but now I don't as I have understand it doesn't matter how wrong happened with me I should be patience and enjoy being on fanpop. I know it took so much hard work to gain it still...

O.K., this is quite short but I figured I'd have a stab at this, it's The Twelve Days Of Fanpop, it's basically the Twelve Days Of Natale with different words, I tried to make these to do with John where I could, most of the numbers are random except three four and five, which are the amount there are, and then one has to be something in a pera, corpo a pera tree, oh I bet this makes no sense to te since te haven't read the song yet.
