Fanpop- Home, Sweet Home!

When I first clicked onto Fanpop, I felt like something was a little different. It wasn't like MySpace o YouTube (not that I have anything against the people who use them), where I normally get the feeling that people I don't know are looking at my profile. I felt like I could message the users on here and not get a rude o creepy message back. I could comment, rate, and make picks without anyone (besides the occasional bad-mannered user) commenting on my own opinions. I could add things and feel really great when someone else gave me props o commentato on how thankful they were for that item. And, I am so glad that fanpop has stayed this way! I feel so comfortable on here and only know 4 other fanpoppers in real life. I just wanted to compliment all of the wonderful users on how great they are on making this an awesome site to be on! te are all part of the reason I am now very addicted to Fanpop!

Have te ever gone to a spot and seen 3 links with the exact same title? Have te ever seen a video of an annual event and wondered if it was from this anno o last years show? Gone through a whole video on a spot and wondered why it was there? The problem is generic titling. There is a very simple solution for this that I will explain to te and help te put into play in your everyday Fanpopping.

Have I read this articolo before??? I just can't tell with this generic title!

più generic titles might be ok for pictures (I mean really how specific can te get with a picture.... Amy Adams...

When I first started on fanpop I didn't exactly know what fanpop really was, I just was on fanpop so I could see video of my favourite tv shows.
But then I noticed that te could do other things like answering picks and I started to do that.
Some picks made me laugh really hard, other made me think about things that I've never really thought about.
I did that for a while and it was (and still is) really fun to do and then I began to notice that when I couldn't sleep, o just was bored, I was making picks in my head.

Everybody knows that there are famous persons. celebritàs which are know worl wide, that appear in TV, in magazines... One of the many places where te can find those celebrities, is Fanpop! There are many spots, dedicated to those persons! There for, the users that unisciti those spot are, obviously, fan of those celebrities! But... it seems that that "rule" is no longer respected! For at least two times in a row, i've seen users defamating celebritàs images! And that of course, doesn't let the fan of a certain celeb, happy! A fanpop Challenge: Pending Spots

As most of te know, there is a special holding pen for newly-created spots -- the link arena. Spots remain there until:
a) they have a significant amount of links, video & images
b) there are enough fan to deem it popolare ... o at least raise its status out of the 'geek stuck in the trash can' level.

Often I roam around, looking at these new creations, trying to help out those poor spots that have no videos, links, picks, o immagini to their name. But there are still spots there that were born over a anno fa with little to no links to make it interesting enough to join.

I heart pick additions! Truly!

Just out of curiousity, how do people feel when they've created a pick, find pictures, spell- and grammar-proof the question, finally send it out to the world -- and two weeks later discover new choices that r ovrwhielminley mispeled, say "all of the above" o "none of the above", o are green numbers among all of the pretty pictures?

Well, te can read between the lines for my opinion. But I don't know whether this is a personal irritant o whether many più besides me feel this way.

Of course, there is a time and place for everything. Crazy_chica added a "None of the above" option to my link...

Why is it on immagini that there are so many più visualizzazioni than there are people who rated it? It makes me really sad, because I like to see what people think of the content I add. Now, I realize that there are people who view immagini a più than once, but what I don't understand is when some of my immagini have 87 visualizzazioni and only 2 people (one of which is me) who rated it. In the past I used to be guilty of this, however after adding a lot of content I realized that how good it made me feel when people took the 2 secondi it takes to rate my content. I mean te are already there, and te veiwed it,...
