It would only cause some people to delete picks and quizzes if they didn't like an answers.

Fan picks and quizzes can not and will not ever be deleted by the users. For the reasons of people being childish and not agreeing with what other people pick/say on them.

If you DO want something to be deleted (because you made a mistake) report it and in the "notes" section just explain why.

If you want it deleted because there is abusiveness happening in it then report the user instead. (go to their profile and there's a report button on the left hand side)

I just report it and in the notes section add 'Delete it please'.

that is what the report button is for otherwise there is no need you made the pick and it becomes public once it is published that is why there is a preview before you publish, if you don't preview it or you don't notice the mistake in the preview you just ask the pick or quiz be deleted and anyone can request a pick or quiz be deleted if they feel it is inappropriate or if the quiz is wrong.

I am yes and no on this one because I'd like to at least be able to edit my questions, spelling mistakes, typos, images, whatever, but otherwise NO because to totally delete a pick is just not a good idea

I would say yes 'cause sometimes I make mistakes, but I saw what you guys wrote and you're right, some people would delete 'cause they didn't like the answers. But one thing I really want: we be able to report repeated picks

If I made it then yes. But not to that other people can.

If I made a mistake, or the question doesn't make sense or something, I want to delete them.

Yes please. If we can't edit huge typos and what not let us delete it all together. If someone starts a huge fight, let us delete the source and end the fight.

Maybe deletion should be possible for a few hours after the poll or question has been posted, in case people notice a mistake or think of an option to add. I don't think longer term deletion is a good idea though - too many people would delete polls whose results they don't agree with, or pop quiz questions which they think are now too easy.
