Is Thumbelina a disgrace to the female gender?

No.
She's just a girl, who has fantasies of romance and charm (like many young girls), and who's unaware of her surroundings outside her home. I find it kind of hard to blame her why she doesn't know what to do in most situations (her being so tiny physically doesn't help). She's has her faults, don't get me wrong. But they're not enough to call her a "disgrace" to our gender. :/

i disagree , i mean come on u have to say Snow white , Cenerentola , campana, bell , Aurora . Nothing wrong with want a happy ending , & yes most of them are victim . Thats just the way stories were . Also think over years we came along way to girl power on that lol
