Aeris was just a fantastic person in my opinion. Strong, smart, sassy. Everything I like in a friend. Don't get me wrong, Tifa is a wonderful lady as well. Staying with Cloud during his coma shows how devoted she is. Yet, I could see Aeris doing the same.

ummm... its a hard choice but tifa's my favourite ff7 character so naturally i'd love her to be my friend :D

I like Aeris as a character. But IMO she would be that nice, fun friend, that you can't help but get annoyed with because of her cheeriness.

Tifa seems like she would be a less annoying friend, and would have far few as well. I like smaller groups of friends more.

I'd definitaly choose Tifa... I dont't like Aeris much.... She's always in such a good mood.... Tifa is calm, but not overly so. Her devotion to her freinds is shown when she stays with Cloud while hes in his coma. Also..... Tifa kicks ^&#*!

Tifa is a bit overbearing. And Aeris is the kind of person who I am friends with now.

Tifa cuz she's definitely the type of friend you can depend on when times call for it.She stood by Cloud through all the good and bad times they had,she stood by him when he was in a coma,helped Cloud overcome his guilt for Zack and Aerith's death.

She helped Cloud realize that he didn't need to distance himself from his loved ones and the people who care about him to deal with his geostigma alone and she gave him the courage and strength to fight again in Advent Children...And cuz she's ****ing hot xD

Although I wouldn't mind having Aerith as a friend as well,she's great.

i would say aerith becuz she is really nice and plus she can make almost anyone smile. Tifa is nice too but she has to take care of marlene and denzel and her bar shop. Unlike Aerith, we can both do flowers together.

I don't know... I really like both of them. Well I won't lie, I like Tifa just a little bit more. But I would enjoy both of their friendship. They're both very interesting girls. Tifa and Aerith are friends, so if I'm a friend with one of them, I'm a friend to another as well. So I pick Tifa but say both. :)
