Frozen is one of my preferito franchises. I have seen Frozen più times than anybody probably should. In fact, there was a time where I would watch scenes from Frozen several days per week. During that time, I've gotten to study the film and its sequel on an obsessive basis.
One of the things that I did a lot of research on is on which characters have the most screentime in Frozen and Frozen 2. With the help of my stopwatch, I have been able to figure that out. Figuring out who has the most screentime isn't as easy as it appears. It's hard to calculate screentime for characters when there are scenes when the characters are front and center, while other scenes have the characters in the background. Because of that, it's virtually impossible to be completely accurate when it comes to these results. However, I believed I did the best I could with the task. For characters that have similar amounts of screentime, I ranked them da how front and center and essential to the plot they are.
For the first Frozen film, there are only seven characters that have più than five minuti of screentime. The seven characters are listed from the smallest amount of screentime to the highest amount of screentime.

Since Elsa is such a big star, it's easy to assume that she's the protagonist. However, her younger sister, Anna, has far più screentime. While Elsa is the one who gets the plot in motion, Anna serves as the viewpoint protagonist of the film.
In Frozen 2, there are characters that have similar amounts of screentime to each other. These characters include King Agnarr, as well as the people that Elsa and Anna meet in the Come d’incanto Forest, including Yelena, Ryder and Honeymaren, as well as Bruni and Nokk.
