Woah it's been a while since i enjoyed a SNSD song 100%





i've seen many people hating on CMIYC but tbh i freakin' Amore it and i think it's one of their most solid tracks. there isn't one single thing i dislike, each part of the song blends really well and is catchy af. the choreography is AWESOME. so powerful and intense...
and finally the girls are bringing all the energy again


there's one thing everyone seems to be talking about, and in a positive way: the dance line
ha rubato, stola the show. they shined the most in this MV and no one can disagree with that



the sad part is that this most likely happened because...... Jessica isn't in the group anymore.

if it wasn't for that, i doubt Yoona, Yuri and Hyoyeon would have lots of screentime o lines

there's no point in mentioning Sooyoung because tbh, with o without Jessica, we all know she's been Canto a lot, especially in their japanese songs.
so i don't think her amount of lines were influenced da Jessica's departure.
she would still have as many, because:
A- she's the most fluent in japanese
B- she improved a lot
C- she's been included più in the vocal line in these past few months


now let's talk about the line distribution

it was PERFECT. FINALLY A SONG WHERE TTS DIDN'T SING THE MAJORITY OF IT.
and of course there's the fact that some lucky members got to sing Jessica's precedente lines. and i have a pretty good idea who they were: Yuri, Yoona and Sooyoung


i analyzed every line and here's what i think


before the first chorus, there's:

nado nae mam jabeul su eopseo saeroun naya- this is sung da Yuri.



before the secondo chorus, theres:

I’m going to find my heart
my heart, my heart-this is sung da Yoona



before the big bridge climax, there's:

kkumcheoreom seuchineun My soul
Dancing in the real life-this is sung da Sooyoung


i think these three lines were previously from Jessica


and tbh i doesn't surprise me that SooNaYul got those extra lines. their voices are pretty similar to Jessica's.




now, for the lines....

Sooyoung-4
Taeyeon and Tiffany- 3 + adlibs
Seohyun, Sunny, Yuri and Yoona- 3
Hyoyeon- 2

i can't say i'm surprised over the fact that Sooyoung had the most lines. but HECK, i'm really happy for her. and i hope it continues that way. she's slowly turning into a lead vocalist and no one can deny it


te might be wondering if i counted those "catch me if te can" parts.
frankly, i didn't. why? because it's either sung da all, or.......... each "catch me if te can" line is sung da a different member.
and that was really hard to see in the MV. i'm gonna wait for the live performance.
many people say it's Yoona Canto all the "catch me if te can" lines. but no, it's not. there's a voice change in ALL OF THEM.





now, for the final part: who looked the best?

well, obviously the dance line xD
but if i had to make a ranking....

Sooyoung and Yuri- the best. these two were KILLING IT. they looked so hot and beautiful, omfg <333

Yoona and Hyoyeon- both looked really pretty too. i loved Hyo's new hair color. and Yoona's makeup was on point.

Taeyeon- she wasn't overshadowed da the dance line, which is good. she looked amazing. i really loved the part where she had a ponytail. plus, her dance moves were susprising. people really underestimate Taeyeon's dancing. they shouldn't.

Tiffany- she wasn't spectacular o anything, but she looked beautiful, i have to admit.

Seohyun- she was ok, but boring. she sang her parts decently but the lack of screentime for her, was pretty obvious.

Sunny- SOOOOOOO forgetable. there was nothing memorable about her. she had no presence whatsoever. what the hell is happening to Sunny?
