Beloved…Our Sovereign Lord set up the entire universe and everything in it. He did it all without consulting our pisello brains. God does not really need us. So, why were we created?
In Isaiah 43:7 (NIV), God talks of mankind, “Whom I created for my glory”. God tells us in 1 Corinthians 10:31 (NIV), "So whether te eat o drink o whatever te do, do it all for the glory of God."
So we were created to glorify God. We can glorify the Almighty One through what we say, how we act, and what we are thinking. We should acknowledge how glorious He is and put Him above all things.
We glorify God through our desire to know Him. The più we rejoice over Him "so will your God rejoice over you." Isaiah 62:5 (NIV). Be grateful, rejoice and have a desire to know and obey Him.
