I always loved Eric, but I loved his relation with Chuck more. Also, anyone who teams up with this new annoying Rufus has a shot at being disliked by me XD

LMAO, right now I feel like I am the only one. I won't lie, I thought I wasn't going to like him this episode because I knew he was going to tag team with Rufus, but I dunno, after I saw the episode, I completely understood why both of them were upset. But I still don't like Rufus. Because he is Rufus. I mean, maybe it is because I love Eric and Jenny's friendship so much, but I dunno, I almost think that that particular view was needed. Because pretty much everyone was like, 'Oh, you tried to rape Jenny? That's cool!' Even Rufus forgave Chuck for a bit, until he found out about season 1. It would have seemed a little unrealistic that the only person who was mad at Chuck was the father of the minor that he deflowered, so I am kind of glad Eric was a total BAMF in this episode. I love Chuck and all, and I get he apologized...but c'mon, not everyone is going to be totally fine with him.

He was a little douche bag. Honestly, that is none of his business. It would be one thing if Jenny and Chuck hadn't cleared it up themselves but they did and it's not even an issue with them anymore. And if Eric can be all buddy-buddy-be my brother! after the 'rape' incident why is he all of a sudden all concerned about it when they actually have consensual sex?

And I don't really understand how that incident coupled with Chuck and Jenny sleeping together means that he has always been a horrible man and always will be... Isn't that the point of him changing?

Lucy said it all.
Eric, I'd just like to remind you of something. Who was the one person outside of your family who didn't treat you like "some freak who just got out of the Ostroff Center"? Who was the one person you felt you could come out to because he doesn't judge you?
Was it Jenny? No, she was actually ditching him for Asher at the time. Yeah, it was Chuck.

I'm more on the fence, but pretty much. He thought he was doing the right thing but it was a whole mess of wrong.

I've always disliked him, but he was a major douche this whole episode. Even before the Chuck stuff happened, he was being all sassy and bitchy to Serena.

And I will forever stick with that Rufus being mad at Chuck is completely understandable, but Eric? Yeah, go mind your own business kid.

I totally agree with NJBCfan.

And just because Chuck says he has changed doesn't mean he has, he needs to act like it.

I liked Eric too!! After all he's Jenny's brother and he has the right to help protect Jenny too!! But I thought he knew more about what happened to Chuck and Jenny in season one!! I know that he knew what happened later because Jenny came all crying to him about her virginity being lost. I also thought Chuck was a good guy to Eric, and I can't believe Eric stabbed him in the back to Rufus!! But one thing I do know is Rufus and Eric have the family right to protect Jenny!! As like the world everything's not all talked out before someone goes off and makes and ass about themselves!!! Rufus should have also got all the information evens from what his wife thought and knew about what's going on around him!!!

I don't really understand why Eric gets so much hate for acting the way he did.
I know that he and Chuck really got to know each other in season one and had a brother-like relationship during the first half of the second season, but Chuck pretty much treated Eric like crap after Bart died. I don't think he ever apolgiezed for that. In fact I don't even remember them having a scene together after that. I know that Chuck went through a lot in season three, but so did Eric, he got dumped by his boyfriend, found out his mom had cancer and his dad re-appeared. And we never saw Chuck being there for him/ checking up on him.
So I get that Jenny is more of a sister to him, than Chuck is his brother, right now and he was the one who found Jenny after what happen & to see how upset she really was.

Yep, Chuck is just a guy on Gossip Girl who tries to rape girls but it's all good cause he has a catchphrase.

You talk about it like that's all he does. Your point doesn't even make sense.

His and Rufus' actions were completely reasonable!

Do people not understand the seriousness of attempted rape of a 14 year old? It doesn't matter that Chuck and Jenny 'sorted it out', she a minor, of course her father should be involved!

And attempted rape is a step-brothers business. I'd certainly like to know if it happened to my sister.

And I agree with xxshannen1xx. No, sexual assulting people isn't all Chuck does/did, but I don't think it's all that real life sex offenders do either. Doesn't make it right.
