Alice saved Edward's life. If Alice didn't have Bella backed up, the plan to save Edward would have failed and also the plan to save Renesmee!!!!!!!!!

We don't really see Alice do much, do we? Hermione actually has a personality.

Hermione is flawed and that is exactually what makes her so much more relatable then Alice. But I do like Alice, she is actually one of the only few people from Twilight that i actually like.

Hermione has much more depth and is a stronger character.

Hermione rocks! She's the main heroine of the book (I said HEROINE, not HERO). She basically starts the whole golden trio by nearly being killed by a fully grown, 12-foot mountain troll! This led to Harry and Ron rescuing her, which leads to the three of them spending more time together. Near the end of the book, Hermione had helped Harry and Ron through the Devil's Snare, and she helped Harry reach Professor Quirrel and Lord Voldemort by solving the riddle when they were stuck in the ring of fire. In the second book, she helps Harry and Ron solve the Chamber of Secrets, she basically solved the mystery by going to the library and finding out about what was in the Chamber of Secrets and how it was getting around school, and how it was getting students and other things petrified, that's why she was found with a mirror. In the third book, Hermione becomes more independent and smart. She actually quit a subject, and she did it in front of a whole class, she threw a crystal ball on the floor. She slaps Malfoy across the face, and helps Hagrid with his research on Hippogriff rights. In the fourth book, she helps Harry with the first task, showing him the Summoning Charm and using it on his Firebolt. She tries to help him with the second one, but she suceeds with the third one, giving Harry charms to help and defend him in the maze. She also starts S.P.E.W, a sponsor of elf rights. In the fifth book, she helps Harry prepare in his battle against Voldemort, and becomes a prefect, along with Ron. In the sixth book, she starts showing feelings for Ron and she's strong at the same time by going to Slughorn's Christmas Party with Cormac McLaggen and using the Oppugno spell on Ron. In the seventh book, Hermione helps Harry defeat all of Voldemorts horcuxes and also solves the mystery of the Deathly Hallows, and finally, the moment we've been waiting for, HERMIONE KISSES RON! She realizes she loves him and kisses him in case they die.

Anyway, Hermione is a strong girl who fights for what she believes in. She's smart and beautiful, and therefore better than Alice.

Hermione is so much more relatable and realistic than Alice. How many of you know a bossy, know-it-all yet loyal and independent girl? And how many of you know a girl that is perfect and has not on single flaw except spending too much money?
