Conclusion:
Common features between libri often help te choose your successivo book, which is a good thing. So is Birthright different enough to be considered a similar to Harry Potter o is it just Harry Potter in a different cover?

Hackysack98 I disagree… both are cool stories but Harry Potter is more about the magic and Birthright is more about them all having their own gift… no magic.. Harry Potter also mainly uses Hogwarts and different parts of our world as the backdrop. While Birthright uses our world and completely different other worlds.. pretty cool.. though need to see more from the Birthright series..

B1ingin So got Birthright and read it.. it’s actually a really good book but Zach is not as likeable as Harry.. preferred the Potter characters… though the worlds in Birthright were awesome.. Mystro10 I am generally pretty apprehensive when people start comparing things.. I googled birthright and found the following: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jKxnEYr9ZM0. This made me even more apprehensive. THOUGH it was good. What I loved about Harry Potter the most as I read through each book is how it built a base and continued to expand on that adventure building on that base. Birthright was an amazing book, I loved the base and think it is going to be a terrific series and cant wait to go to different other worlds and learn more about the Viscetns.. Oh and the girl Wen, nothing like a kick ass hot girl..

Bizpop This is exactly my point, Wen from Birthright and Hermione seem to be the same character in different books. Is anyone else seeing this? Hermione is probably more the intellectual though more that Wen. Wen just seems pure feisty and probably better in a fight.. it was seriously wicked the way Wen challenged the vicious dogs and fought them.. that I suppose Hermione couldn't do.. she would probably turn the in to puppies !!!

No book has had that specialness that I felt when I first read Harry Potter.. until Birthright.. It has all of the chemistry, excitement and fun that I felt when I first met Harry.. It made me smile BIG.. Zach is so likable as my new Harry and Wen makes a terrific Hermione.. but here is the thing.. I am terrified.. Starlight516 Okay, did I love Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone= YES.. Did I love Birthright = YES.. Now here is where I am confused.. You cant ignore the fact that Birthright has not brought out the second to the series yet so without it how cant we compare Harry Potter to Birthright. HOWEVER I remember when I read the Philosopher's Stone it was love at first read and I was hungry for more. It was the perfect set-up and all I wanted to do is to rip in to the next one. Well that tingly feeling I got when I read the Philosophers' Stone is the same tingly feeling I got when I read Birthright.. It was funny, exciting and I liked Zach a lot.. I loved the way he thinked the whole way through.. His comments and the funny way he dealt with every new situation.. I also want to rip in to the next book in the birthright series SO BAD.. And only then can we even begin to compare it to Harry Potter cause right now Birthright is not a series and with no movie..

Othellican So fight scenes... in Harry Potter they were some awesome fight scenes but they were always to do with magic. The one thing that Birthright had that Harry Potter didn't was better fight scenes.. When they are in the world of equality in Birthright and Zach discovers that it is a place where everyone is trained in a particular weapon and everyone fights every morning for exercise.. i mean cool.. Picturing the scene of 20 guys, all dressed in robes, with knifes, swords, daggers fighting in groups of 5 was awesome.. I actually felt I was in the fight at times.. and then the assassin comes from no-where and tries to kill Zach, brilliant brilliant stuff..

How reliable fonte the Harry Potter Wiki is?

I don't consider the Harry Potter Wiki as reliable. Because according to its canon policy: if Rowling hasn't specifically denied something about a film in the libri o in other words, whatever the films say is to be first and foremost promoted in the articoli as a canon fact instead of the books' facts.

In my logic it should be the other way around. That the books' canon should be promoted first and foremost - exactly becasuse the libri are the tier 1 canon and the Film only the tier 2 o 3 even - and because we can not be sure what about the films are from Rowling's hints and what are just...
