Book 2 Mistakes
NOTE: Many of these book mistakes were corrected in later versions, so the mistake may not appear in your HP book.

* On page 4, the giorno of Harry's birthday, Rowling says, "and then, exactly a anno ago, Hogwarts had written to Harry..." but they had actually written before Harry's eleventh birthday. He'd been receiving them before, he just never had the chance to read one. So technically he had been written to before his eleventh birthday. Thanks, Kelsey!

* On page 95, it states that Nearly Headless Nick "took several deep breaths, and then said, in a far calmer tone, 'So what's bothering you?'" However, on page 506 of GOF, Myrtle says that ghosts do not breathe: "When I can't ...when I haven't...not for ages..."

* On page 102 of the American COS: "Several (freshly caught Cornish pixies) shot through the window, showering the back row with broken glass." The glass would have splintered outward, not back into the classroom.

* In COS, on page 119 of the American version, it states, "...Harry was dragging his feet along the secondo floor corridor to Lockhart's office. He gritted his teeth and knocked." However, on page 141, after Mrs. Norris is found petrified on the secondo floor, Lockhart urges Professor Dumbledore to use his office to examine her, saying that it is just upstairs. That would mean that his office is on the THIRD floor, not the second. Thanks, Christina!

* (NOTE: This mistake applies only to the US versions.) When Professor McGonagall took Harry to Professor Dumbledore's office, the password was "lemon drop," but then in the fourth book when he's going to tell Dumbledore about Mr. Crouch in the forest it says "...five minuti later he was hurtling towards a stone gargoyle standing half way along an empty corridor. 'Sher-sherbet lemon,' he panted at it. This was the password to the hidden staircase to Dumbledore's office- o at least it had been two years ago."

* The chapter picture for "The Rogue Bludger" shows Harry's left arm deboned, but in the story, his right arm has been deboned. Thanks, Amy!

* At the end of the secondo book Dumbledore tells Harry that Lord Voldemort is the last remaining ancestor of Salazar Slytherin. But it should say that Lord Voldemort is the last remaining descendant of Salazar Slytherin.

* In the back of the paperback version of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, on the last page where it gives a anteprima of the successivo book, it reads: "Harry Potter has to sneak back to his third anno at Hogwarts after accidentally inflating his horrible Aunt Petunia." It should say he inflated his Aunt Marge.

Lately I have come across many, many, many blogs talking about how twilight is better than Harry Potter. Now I'm going to tell te the reasons why that is so completely wrong!
1. Harry Potter has structured plot. If te think about it, Twilight is just about a girl with no emotion who gets stalked da a sparkling pixie. Harry Potter is about a boy who has to endure many difficult challenges growing up in life, like having to face the fact his parents were killed da Lord Voldemort, and eventually overcoming all of this and defeating the darkest wizard of the age. Plus there are things like ACTUAL...

Were Sirius Black somehow capable of getting some short and other very, very long messages to certain people at the moment he died, this is what he would have said.
To Hermione Granger: I am forever grateful for your intelligence and courage. I truly and literally owe te my soul.
To Ron Weasley: I’m still really sorry I had to break your leg. It was necessary. I’m sure te understand.
To Peter Pettigrew: I will find te in Hell someday. te mark my words.
To Molly Weasley: For all of our differences, te are the closest thing to a mother Harry has ever known. I know te will take good care...

Severus Snape, the missing piece of puzzle of the Harry Potter series. He is also perhaps the most crucial character in the whole series and after its completion, many readers' favourite. In short,he is JK Rowling's masterstroke.

But to be frank, even a few days back I could not even sympathize with Severus. In the initial libri he was just a menacing person who gives the trio a hard time without really any proper reason. He was not even a just professor always favoring his own house students.Harry didn't like him either of course & suspected his involvement in the many dark things that start happening...

Hogwarts School Of Witchcraft and Wizardy

Great Hall

9:30 AM

The breakfast was over, so there were very few students in Great Hall.

Hugo Weasley was sitting on Gryffindor tavolo with a book in his lap. AGAIN.

But he was not alone. Marcus Mills, a first-year Slytherin was also there with his two cronies.

"Look who is here! What are te doing here Weasley?," asked Mills in his normal taunting voice.

"Can't te see, I'm reading.," replied Hugo. BAD MOVE.

"Reading! On weekend! Lemme see what te are reading.," detto Mills snatching...

So, im Scrivere this articolo because im pissed off!

Do u guys know why? Its because I’ve seen many people in this club always asking the same domanda – the domanda that I hate to see,the domanda that I’ve answered so many times, the domanda that is unnecessary.

And it is called - “Why do most people hate ginny?”

And the same domanda keeps coming up again and again, like “why do most people not like ginny weasley”, “why do people hate ginny?”, “why……… and so on!

Now the thing that bothers me is not the domanda itself! But the purpose of the question! I don’t see any...

CHAPTER ONE

VIOLA HOLLOW – RAVENCLAW POV

Hogwarts was a school of witchcraft and wizardry.

Haven’t heard of it? unisciti the club.

A selected few used to think that being called a “witch” was an insult. I’m one of those selected few, being a muggle-born and all. Although “muggle-born” is the politically correct term, Slytherins have developed a habit of calling us “mudbloods”. It’s a highly offensive term.

I was a witch, while my brother was a wizard. We both come from a string of muggles – A.K.A. non-magical beings – who have never heard of “Hogwarts” o anything else that...

On Saturday, some lucky test screeners in Chicago got the opportunity to see the first cut of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1." The CGI wasn't completely finished, it had a stand-in score and its runtime was 150 minutes, but the response from the fan was overwhelmingly positive despite any issues they may have had with the first cut of the movie.

Hit the jump to see our avvolgere up of responses to the film and how they resolve some misgivings that have been had with "Part 1." Be warned,...

I Amore the fact Barty Junior was a Death Eater. That's what I fell in Amore with, in him; a judge's son being a Death Eater - that sweet, delicious irony!! And I'm also very fond of fictional, troubled father-son relationships.

Most people think Crouch Jr. is più like Voldemort than anyone else of the Death Eaters because they both ended up killing their own father with glee, while they were amaro to them. So far I totally agree.

Before talking to Dumbledore under the influence of veritaserum, the book describes ”Moody” looking "completely insane" when he said, that both he and Voldemort...
