Definitely during DH, it seemed to be implied, but I've always shipped Harry/Hermione, so I was looking for those moments long before DH came out.

I think definitely in the movies, but not as much in the books. in the books, it's definitely a very close bond of friendship, to the point of brother-sister love.. But in almost all of the movies, Harry and Hermione have a lot of chemistry.
