They say most abused children end up with a mental issue or two. Not to mention, her love for tourture, maybe she picked up a ting or two about that from some form of abuse as a child.

And look at the family she comes from, they're a bit crazy.

She was either abused or born without the frontal lobe...the part of the brain that controls fore thought. Either way I know her frontal lobe was effected.

But I'm not positive. I mean, her parents were obviously supporters of the Dark Arts so she may have just grown up evil and whatever.

I think its more mental abuse. The oldest child tends to think all the younger siblings get more attention... and maybe that actually happened in her family.

I voted no. I think Sirius was abused and that's hwy rebelled against his family, their beliefs and traditions.

Most likely mentally or socially, either by the society or by her parents, maybe they tried to make her "perfect", better and they screwed up. I think it's very possible.

I don't really think so, I always thought she was pretty popular in school (atleast among the slytherins)and her parents probably loved her too because she was proud to be pureblood.
