“LOOK OUT!!!” calls someone on the field, but it was too late. The ball hit te square in the face. te swore loudly and tried to find the person who had kicked the ball. “Alright, who the hell kicked that!?” one of the boys shout. te heard foot steps running towards you. “God, are te alright?” He asked. te huff. “Yeah, I’m fine.” te say bitterly, “I got hit like that all the time when I played so It’s no big deal. Get back to your mostra barca game of soccer.” The boy in front of te was quiet for a while.
“A hero would never leave an innocent girl all da herself in a strange place.” te laugh. Not because te were trying to be cute, but because te thought he was really stupid. “I know how to take care of myself... what did te say your name was?” The boy chuckled. “Alfred F. Jones, at your service.” te sigh dramatically. “Well, Alfred, I’m (y/n).” te stick out your hand and find that his is already there. te feel yourself blush with embarrassment.
Alfred starts the conversation. “So, what are te doing out here on a gloomy giorno like today?” te sigh. “I didn’t know it was that bad outside today.” te can practically feel the frown of confusion on Alfred’s face. “How would te not know?” te punch, punzone at where he should have been, but he wasn’t there. te cursed under your breath and said, “I thought that the dark glasses gave it away. You took the opportunity to read your book. He was so quite, te had completely forgotten he was there. that is, until he said, “(y/n)?” te sigh and put your book down. “What is it.” te ask drearily. “How often do te come to the park?” he asked. YOu shrug. “Almost every day. Why?” te hear the American stutter. “N-no reason!!! You continue to stay silent. After about 10 più minutes, your phone’s alarm goes off. te stretch and stand up. “Well, I best be off.” te say, “Fair well, Alfred.” te start walking away, but Alfred says, “Wait!” te comply. “Yes?” te ask. te hear shuffling of feet and te assume that it’s Alfred. “Would te like me to walk me home?” he asked. te shake your head. “I know the way here and the way back to my house like the back of my hand.” te say. te hear the American sigh. “But thanks anyways.” te add hastily. te wave to him and te walk home.

You unlock your door and walk inside. “I’m home, (older cousin’s name)!” te head to the cucina and open the fridge. ‘Well that’s unusual.’ te think. ‘NO!’ te thought to yourself, ‘I just met this guy!’ te sighed and presses your alarm clock so it would tell te what time it was. “Ten Twenty-Seven PM.” It said. te yawned. ‘Maybe I’ll see him tomorrow.’ te think to yourself as te drift to sleep’
