The room is painted a clean, neutral white. Banners hang from the walls, testimonies of our prowess at the ancient sport of Quidditch. The room is fairly sparsely furnished, with only a few chairs and a large table scattered across the floor. The room is dominated by a huge wooden case with glass doors. Its top shelves are filled with trophies and plaques of all sizes. The bottom shelf is home to a large, black chest decorated with the emblems of the four Hogwarts Houses. The lock rattles angrily, as though something's trying to get out.

link - Slytherin wins 540 to 460 with a total of 61 votes
link - Ravenclaw wins 530 to 470 with a total of 72 votes
link - Slytherin wins 560 to 440 with a total of 132 votes.
link - Hufflepuff wins 600 to 400 with a total of 40 votes.
link - Slytherin wins 520 to 480 with a total of 77 votes.

Slytherin - 4 wins, 0 losses for first place. 2210 points
Hufflepuff - 2 wins, 2 losses for second place. 2070 points
Gryffindor - 1 wins, 3 losses for third place. 1920 points
Ravenclaw - 1 wins, 3 losses for fourth place. 1780 points
Scores are calculated by wins and losses, NOT by points.

PLEASE try to keep this a neutral zone! It's fine to speculate on the outcome of the matches, but please refrain from shouting and saying that one house is better than the other. This is no-mans'-land!

Well this is certainly shaping up to be an exciting match! Slytherin took an early 6 person 100% lead but was passed overnight by an 18% Ravenclaw vote, taking the total of voters up to 18.

After a couple hours, the game is tied 12 on each side and we all wait for the next wave!

Well we're all just sitting tight and hoping for a tiebreaker soon to give this match a direction!

There will be a good 20 hour period where I won't be able to see what's happening because I'll be on my flight across the Atlantic and then landing at 8:30, which means I still have a full day of touring in Paris.

But in the evening hopefully I'll find some WiFi and check in again :)

Whooops looks like I spoke too soon! Slytherin creeps forward with a 4% lead! Will Ravenclaw rise to the challenge and overtake Slytherin again? The snakes say no, but the eagles have got that look in their eyes again, good luck to both teams!

This is an absolutely nerve racking experience! After 40 votes, Slytherin is barely holding onto a lead. The players are exhausted and 4 days remain in the game!

Still working on the Ravenclaw team. So far we have me at Keeper, GD at Beater, and HMF at Seeker. And that's all the active Ravenclaws.

CP, that's my fault. You guys put them in the wrong order so I had to correct it, and I guess I didn't check well enough!

The Claws are slowly gaining on the Snakes, up to 46% from 40% with an even 50 fans voting. This is even better than the Gryffpuff match!

We're rolling into the final hours of the second match of the season and boy is it exciting! Slytherin barely holds on with a 53% lead after an even 60 votes!

54-46%. A goal is worth 10 points so the final score was 540-460. I think that's how she did it.

At the end of our 8 matches, we'll have the top two play against each other and the last two.

Nope, if you look my master plan in the welcome text, you'll see that 8 matches lets every house face every other house once :)

At the end we should have the top two houses, which will play each other for first place, and then the bottom two who will play each other for third place.

Speaking of matches,

Gryffindor flies in formation into the ring and instantly lives up to their track record by scoring a quick 60% lead and holding it for 2 days.

In a quick turn of events, Ravenclaw struggles up to 46% and is hoping for a quick win.
