I'm such a mess! Look at me! Tossing and turning in my bed. It's been 5 hours since I've tried to go to sleep. **gets up and goes to the living room, watching TV** Ugh all these stupid soap operas. Isn't there anything good on? ...man...I was such a fool. How good was Jamie to me? She changed my life and...she even confessed to me...that she couldn't survive without me. She asked me to stay but look at what a jacka$$ I've bcome. For a whole month! I can't believe I put it up for so long...I feel like a little girl! God! What's wrong with me? How did I survive for this long? This is all my fault. How could I have done this to her? She needed me...she could die any minuto from her leukemia and I just think of it so lightly...*sigh* Why didn't I know this before? Why couldn't I think of this before? The whole day, Randy has been trying to talk to te but te ignore him o te avoid him. At the end of bball practice, te see him waiting for you. te roll your eyes and te walk right past him. Randy runs after te and grabs your sports bag and carries it.
jamie: Give it back. I don't need your help anymore.
Randy: Too bad. I'm not giving it back.
Jamie: Giv it back!!
te grab it from him and he gives te a shocked look.
Randy: Jamie can we talk?
Jamie: There's nothing to talk about. Go away.
Randy: ...
Jamie: I detto go away!
Randy: Ok. I'm sorry to bother you.
Randy quickly chickens out and walks away from te with his head hanging. Deep in your heart, it's killing te to see him walk like that but te have to be strong. Your not gonna give in just yet when it wasn't even your fault. After te see him disapear from your sight *which is definatly not 20/20 vision*, te start walking. Your sports bag feels heavier for some reason and te kinda limp towards the front gate to get to your house. Your halfway to the gate when te feel like te can't do it anymore. te drop your sports bag and te feel tears running down your cheeks. Not only is the bag heavy, but also is your heart. te feel like te just threw out the Amore of your dreams. Right when te lift up your sports bag to sposta on, te feel your knees abandon te and te fall to the ground. But before te hit the ground, te feel hands grabbing te and lifting te back up to your feet, getting the heavy bag off you. te look to see Randy right behind you, holding your sports bag for you. te turn to face him and te feel tears running down your cheeks. He smiles and he gently wipes your tears off with his fingers.
Randy: C'mon. Lets go to your house.
Randy carries your sports bag for te while having his free arm on your waist, supporting you. He drives te to your house and he calls Brad to drop off Angie at the house. He agrees and while waiting, Randy tucks te in bed. He's sitting at the edge of your bed, looking at te under the covers, sick.
Randy: te look...sick.
Jamie: I have been. I ran out of medicine.
Randy: ...
Jamie: ...
Randy: I'm sorry. This is my fault. I didn't mean for this fight to go on for so long.
Jamie: Don't apolgize.
Randy: Jamie...*touches your hand* I will never let te fall. I'll stand up with you, together. And I'll always be here for you. I know I've detto it before, but now I truly mean it.
