Chapter 8: I just don’t want to miss te tonight

Kutner sat on his couch, the case file spread in front of him. He was flipping through the papers over and over again. He couldn’t seem to find the data from the patient’s blood test.

“Crap,” Kutner muttered.

He guessed House, Foreman, Taub, and Thirteen probably had the results in their copies of the file, but it was one in the morning. He sighed. He needed those results. He would have to get them from somebody. That meant waking someone up.

He thought about who was the least likely to yell at him. He wouldn’t have called House at home for a million dollars, even if it wasn’t the middle of the night. Kutner didn’t know how Taub’s wife would react to Taub receiving work-related calls after midnight. So it was Foreman o Thirteen. Foreman would want to know why he needed the results and he would use his unofficial authority over Kutner to find out. He would probably tell him his theory was wrong, because Foreman still thought the problem was neurological, and refuse to give him the results.

Kutner took a deep breath, picked up the phone, dialed Thirteen’s number, and hoped for the best.

“Hello?” the voice on the other end of the line said.

“Thirteen?” Kutner asked.

“Kutner,” Thirteen said. “If te wanted me to get some sleep, why are te calling me in the middle of the night?”

“Sorry,” Kutner said, hastily. “Do te have the results of the blood test?”

“Blood test?” Thirteen said, her voice suddenly più alert.

“Yeah, the patient’s blood test,” Kutner replied, the sharpness of her voice taking him da surprise.

“Oh,” she said. “The patient’s…yeah, I think it’s around here somewhere. Why?”

“What did te think I was talking about?” Kutner asked, suspiciously.

“Nothing,” Thirteen waved his domanda off. “Why do te need the blood test?”

“Just testing a theory,” Kutner answered. “You obviously thought I was talking about something else. What blood test did te take?”

“Listen,” Thirteen said. “I’m really tired. I haven’t slept properly in over a week. I found the blood test. What do te want me to do with it?”

“Read it to me,” Kutner told her. “Come on, just tell me what blood test te took. te don’t have to tell me what the results were.”

“If te don’t stop asking about it, I’m not Leggere this too you,” Thirteen said.

“Okay,” Kutner sighed.

Kutner knew that he wasn’t going to get anything out of her tonight, especially when she held the trump card, the ability to hang up the phone, but she’d never told him she hadn’t taken a blood test.

Kutner didn’t have a prayer with Thirteen. He knew that. That was why no one would ever know how he felt about her. They were friends, and Kutner wasn’t going to risk screwing that up to tell her. He wished she liked him back, but as long as she didn’t, he was content with just being friends.
House walked into his house, hanging his cane on the edge of the archway, making his way to the divano to knock out. He slept for several hours before Wilson called from work around five.
"What the hell do te want?"
"Do te Amore her?"
"This is a very popolare domanda people like to ask me."
"Do you?"
"Yes, parts of her. "
"I'll take that as a yes."
"Couldn't this wait?"
"I had to make sure."
"Why would te need to make sure...What would te need to make sure of..."
Wilson remained silent.
"You know what I'm doing don't you."
"Yeah."
"Was it the way I was recitazione o did te check my planner--?"
"You left it...

Chapter 5
The soft tap of fingers against a keyboard mixed with a gentle drone of voices from a radio atop a bookshelf in the corner, filled Lisa Cuddy’s office with the quiet sounds of her work. Grabbing her mouse, Lisa tapped it twice, effectively sending the last of her email correspondence scurrying across the World Wide Web. Finally finished returning her long lista of emails, she maneuvered the topo, mouse up and signed out of her posta in arrivo before leaned back in her chair and giving her body a well deserved stretch. Stifling a yawn with the back of her hand, Cuddy glanced across her office at the...

I wrote this today and it took me quite long. I'm sorry for my bad english, please try to ignore it and read it anyway...Sorry for all the mistakes. :/

The oppressive silence was hovering over them like an invisible dark cloud. It felt like a dream, an unreal state of mind they had been pushed into.
Their patient’s chart was laying in the middle of the table, bright red and yet left untouched. From time to time they looked at it, their eyes reflecting the chaos inside their heads and it was obvious that the red object on the tavolo didn’t have a part in their thoughts at all.
It was just...

Loud Musica flooded through his small apartment off campus. Students scattered everywhere, from his kitchen, to his living room and through the hallway of his place. He sat there on a wooden bar stool, hunched over slighty, and taking swigs of his cold birra in his hand. He watched in the living room, as couples grinded to the Musica together. He tooks another swig of the beer, now staring from across the room as the green door to the outside creaked open, letting in a cool refreshing breeze, though he could barely feel it. Then he saw her legs, pale but very smooth. Her legs seemed to go on...

ciao everyone so I decided to enter this round, little bit of a warning I hope the ending isn't to abrupt but I was pushing the word limit, hope te enjoy.

A nube, nuvola of dust descended upon Cuddy and she coughed and winced against the fragments of forgotten suburbia. She flayed her arms widely in the air trying to wipe away the particles that were scratching at her eyes and flying up her nose, but the dust had its own motives. She regretted opening the hatch, but once the dust had cleared and she could see again, she peered into the darkness of her parent’s attic and into a part of time she...

It was late afternoon and after a busy giorno at work she was eager to spread out on the divano and rest. She stepped out of the car, it was a cold afternoon and the pavement was covered with a thin layer of water from the last time it rained. Once inside, she let her keys fall on the little tavolo right successivo to the door; her shoes and cappotto were left where they dropped as she made her way to the living room.

Little Rachel was with Wilson, who had volunteered to pick her up from daycare and stayed with her. He made an excuse that he needed più contact to his cute new “niece” and that the new...

The sound of her staletoes clicked as she walked on the cheap tile floor, her pace wasn’t too fast nor too slow, it was just right. Her walk showed confidence, constantly moving her hips in a rhythm. Her skin like porcelain, and her eyes blue with a hint of gray in them. The toned muscles in her legs were astonishing, every inch of was beautiful. She looked as if she were hand crafted by...

Again, this is part of the Broken Bride fic. If te havent' read Broken Bride, Save Our City, and Tonight's the Night, te should read them before te read this one so you'll know what's happening, because I'm going to tell te right now, if te don't, te won't.

This one is very long and is the main reason for the PG-13 rating, though Save Our City ended up being pretty gruesome too. So just a warning

Part III: The agnello and the Dragon

Note to self: pterodactyls don’t have night vision. Raptors do. I basically dive into my machine after nearly having my head torn of my a pack of velociraptors....

Chapter two: It’s Summer!!!

“Oh, don’t act surprised”, my aunt started, “You know she was coming and te agreed on involving her as a part of the team if she took some of your clinic duty. That is 2 hours a day!”

“And yet, she is 3 hours with me. Somehow I think that’s not fair.” te could hear House from behind me, being sarcastic again.

“You’re an adult, House. Get over it.” And with that my amazing aunt left leaving the diagnostician a little bit confused. God, she...

Sepia Memories:

A blue moon echoed across the lake, dipping into the earth with each tender wave that crashed against the jagged rock. Restless creatures spoke into the night, whispering platitudes across the water, wishing for the new daybreak. These sounds of the early morning were as scary as they were calming, and although four walls and locks surrounded Cuddy, she still lay awake.
Her fingertips filled with color as they moved lightly across her forehead, trailing down to her right eyebrow. Closing her eyes at this touch, she sighed. A lump, which she had come to...

[House staggers into Wilson's office. He limped all the way to his divano to lay down. Wilson knows he's there but doesn't bother to look up from his paperwork]

Wilson: Avoiding Cuddy, again?

House: No, I just Amore hiding out in your office.

Wilson: She'll turn up, eventually, and then te will have to see her.

House: Not if I know where to hide. After here I go to the clinic, because she's supposed to go check on the team today. And when she sees that I'm not there she will go look for me and that's when I go back to my office and wait for my teams arrival with the results of an MRI scan.

This is my first attempt at House fan fiction.

I'd Amore to get some tips on how to improve my writing. XDD

Basically, House is practising his rubber band firing skills, with Cuddy's backside as his target.

One shot.
*************************************************************************************************

The art of rubber band flicking takes a considerable amount of skill. Not only must one have already mastered the precise finger techniques of firing a rubber band, but one must also take into consideration a number of variable factors including wind velocity, the elasticity of the rubber...

I apologize for the shortness. Not much happens in this song. Hopefully I'll make up for it. I'm expecting the successivo one to be pretty long

Tonight’s the Night

I pace the cave as the sun disappears under the treetops once again. I’ve been in this cave for three days, but the pterodactyl hasn’t moved. In fact, I’m pretty sure it’s waiting for me. These things are smarter than people give them credit for.

And yet House stared at them intently, as though, when least expected they would tip their hand and reveal something- anything, which would solve this case.
