When Dustfinger died, he hung around Orpheus to get him back, he was also baciare the girls that worked for him. He HATED Orpheus and sort of knew he wasn't going to write Dustfinger back. Also he very willingly agreed for Mo to sacrifice himself. Then he chooses to be with Orpehus and complains about it
