I like Irish names. I saw an Irish name once. It was something like Breagnea, but I'm not sure how to spell it. I want to give my daughter that name, as soon as I get a daugter
No but my friends cousins and brother get it all the the time one of my friends has started telling people to just call her Ash because no one can pronounce Ashleigh and that's not even hard!
Well my name is commonly mispronounced but it's not irish. "Anika" not that hard. Not An-E-ka not Anita. Anoka. or anthing else. "Anika" (Ann- soft i- ka) ppl... ppl... ppl...
my name is Aislinn and every year when I get new subject teachers I have to correct them when they call my name on the register, I've been doing it for so long now that I've given up.
my name is sorcha (sir-a-ka) not sorsha or sorka. its actually so annoying!!
and then my middle names are caitriona (not too hard when they hear it cos its the same as katrina but when its spelled . . .)and aodhamair or aedammair.
its pronounced aid-oh-mar (like mars without the "s")super funny to see people try to read it aloud.

My name is Kathy. Pronounced properly: Katty. Pronounced by people: Katty. So no,it's not badly pronounced. I am from Ireland though. Guess that counts...
