Over the years, there have been plenty of Spider-Man films. Because of that, there have been several villains that have posed a serious challenge to Spidey. This lista is to highlight all of the live-action villains that have opposed the iconic web swinger.
Willem Dafoe became the first actor to play a classic Spider-Man in 2002's Spider-Man. He played the Green Goblin in that film. He had cameo appearances in 2004's Spider-Man 2 and 2007's Spider-Man 3. In 2021, he returned to the role in Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Alfred Molina played Doctor Octopus in Spider-Man 2 and Spider-Man: No Way Home.
James Franco played Harry Osborn in the Sam Raimi trilogy. Harry started off as a supporting character, but he became an antagonist in Spider-Man 3.
Thomas Haden Church played Sandman in Spider-Man 3. Due to Covid restrictions, he wasn't able to physically return for No Way Home. Instead, he voiced Sandman. Old footage of him from Spider-Man 3 is used in the climax.
Topher Grace played Venom in Spider-Man 3.
Rhys Ifans played the lucertola in 2012's The Amazing Spider-Man. Like with Thomas Haden Church, he wasn't able to physically return for No Way Home, so he just voiced Lizard. Old footage of him from The Amazing Spider-Man is used for the one scene where lucertola is in his human form.
Jamie Foxx played Electro in 2014's The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and returned for No Way Home.
Dane DeHaan played the Green Goblin in The Amazing Spider-Man 2.
Paul Giamatti played the Rhino in The Amazing Spider-Man 2.
Michael Keaton played the avvoltoio in 2017's Spider-Man: Homecoming. He also had a couple of cameo appearances at the end of 2022's Morbius.
Jake Gyllenhaal played Mysterio in 2019's Spider-Man: Far From Home.

Sony has been making films that have Spider-Man's villains as anti-heroes.
Tom Hardy played Venom in 2018's Venom and 2021's Venom: Let There Be Carnage. He had a cameo appearance in No Way Home.
Woody Harrelson had a cameo in 2018's Venom and played Carnage in Venom: Let There Be Carnage.
Jared Leto played Morbius in Morbius.
The Future:
Aaron Taylor-Johnson will play Kraven in 2023's Kraven the Hunter.
Bad Bunny will play El Muerto in 2024's El Muerto.
A third Venom is also being planned.
