Look up 'Machine Gun' on youtube. Jimi sings about the Viet Nam war. It was one of his best protest songs. I have a live performance of it on the DVD of the Dick Cavett mostra circa 1970. Also listen to 'House Burning Down', Jimi's angst against the Watts riots where there was alot of senceless violence that was racially motivated.
