End of Chapter 11
I cleaned up my plate, putting it in the sink with intentions to clean it later that giorno when I returned. I made my way to my room, finding some clothes that I wouldn't mind getting getting dirty in the sewer system. Once I was dressed I dropped to my knees successivo to my bed, bowing my head as I prayed to a God that I was now questioning.
'Father, please watch out for everyone. We need your guidance and your assistance, this is going to be difficult...possibly the most difficult thing we've done. Please watch over us, guide us on the correct path, the path that will send these demons back to hell.'
I detto the words, but for some reason my cuore wasn't sure that I was really asking. I did want someone o something to watch out for my friends, I didn't want anything to happen to them...but for some reason I had a feeling that something was going to happen to me...and whatever was going to happen was not going to be good.
Chapter 12
I quickly changed into some older clothes, knowing that we were going to be going to the sewers before I headed out to meet everyone else. I thought I would be one of the first people there..but much to my surprise I was one of the last people to show. Every turned and looked at me, a few people calling out encouragement about what were going to do.
"Alright, today is the giorno we send these abominations back to hell." I said, pausing to let everyone calm down. "This is not going to be easy, I ask that te all stay vigilant. I'm sure they know we are coming, we have to stay on our toes and expect anything."
"How do we kill them?" John asked, a few other people voicing the same question.
"I'm not sure, I've never killed one." I admitted. "I believe that if te remove their head o pierce their cuore they will die."
I think a few people were shocked da that news, a few of them looked suddenly nervous while a few others started to back down the hallway.
"If te aren't certain that te want to do this te are free to go. No one will hold this against you, everyone has the choice to stay o go..but te must decide soon for we must be going."
I was surprised when a few men caught my eye before bowing their heads and walking back down the alley, towards town and their families. I meant what I had said, everyone had the option to stay o go and I wouldn't force anyone.
"Alright," I detto as I looked around and quickly counted the number of men that were left in our 'hunting' group. "We have eight men, I figure two teams of four should be safe. Please do go off on your own, we need to stick together and attack as a group."
I chose who was going to be in which group, naming Michael to be the leader of the other group. We all agreed on our groups, promising to contact eachother if anything happens. We decided to start in two different spots, hoping that we could have the element of surprise.
My group went down the gutter that the monster had used yesterday. I went first, holding a lantern high as the others followed me down. We made our way down the grimy, disgusting system all of us keeping our eyes open, so anxious that we jumped when something moved.
There was no sign of anything down here, well..anything except for mice and the occasional rats. I led our group deeper into the tunnel system, the light getting dimmer and dimmer as we went further under town. I did my best to keep our group together, checking every few steps to make sure that everyone was together. It wasn't until I heard man scream my name that I noticed Thomas wasn't with our group, a few secondi later his scream was heard again..this time his scream choked off..then silence. The entire group looked at me, as if they were waiting for me to tell them what to do. My head was screaming that we needed to run, we needed to get above ground and as fast as we could.
"Get above ground." I whispered as the men turned and started running.
We were about half way to the access point when I heard a scream and realized that James was now missing from our group, which now was made up of me and Richard. He stood staring at me for a secondo before we both took off running as fast as we could, hoping and praying that we would make it above ground.
James had made it to the ladder and was about half way up it when I saw it. The monster was about twenty feet away from me, a sick smile on his face as he wiped his hand across his mouth, a red stain spreading after his hand.
"James go!" I yelled as I watched the vampire take a step closer to where I was.
"No, James...stay." The beast said, his voice joking.
"Carlisle?" James asked, I could almost make out his face in the light that poured down the grate.
"Go! Tell the others." I yelled as the vampire took another step, closing the distance between us to mere feet.
"You are not afraid?" It asked as it stepped successivo to where I stood.
"No." I said, my cuore pounding uncontrollably.
"You lie," He laughed as he rested a hand on my shoulder. "You should have listened to my warning Carlisle."
I was about to say something when I heard the sound of James coming back down the ladder, and while I looked up the best took advantage and attacked me. I felt something slice my neck, followed da a burning sensation that was so intense I had to fight to remain conscious. The least thing I remember was hearing the vampire laugh, followed da James' scream.

Because being sick isn't that great and because we all Amore you! We wish te all the best and that you'll get better soon:D
You're an angel
That helps us
Get out of hell!
You're a light
That helps us
Get out of the dark!
And if te weren't
Here, the world wouldn't
Be as great, as perfect!
The sun wouldn't
Shine as strong...
The moon wouldn't
Light up the night!
We hope te get well soon:D
