I genuinely thought it was an amazing film! For anyone who cares, the book's awesome too!

i really didn't like it. i left feeling disappointed.

I do agree that when Knightley emerges out of the fountain she is approaching Venus emerging from the waves and also the love scene is very powerfull but overall excepting those two climaxes the film is not built around Knightley byt around the falsely accused and Briony Tallis who are the real protagonists-therefore I think it was a good performance in a great film, but the film is not about Cecilia it is about Briony. It is just that Keira has such star-quality that overshadows others even when she is no the leading role-it also media coverage that plays a role.

I LOVED this movie! She did great, as did James MacAvoy.

The ending made me cry! I agree with CS19em the music was cool with the typewriter, very original

Very sad ending actually. Almost brought me to tears, almost :P . But overall I thought it was really good, it just needed more keira in it!

I loved it! Every scene was so beautiful, it was like one big piece of artwork. Like seriously every scene, every shot could've been an amazing photograph or painting!

omg WOW. Such an amazing Film. iLOVED it, Keira&James were amazing in it. Both one of my favourite Actors&Actresses.

I loved it. I think James McAvoy and Keira did great.

I cried for TWO WHOLE HOURS after I finished watching it.

She acted great, but I didn't like the movie!!! it's too long, though the plot is absolutly good

Atonement was a FANTASTIC movie!

And again I'm in minority. I think Atonement was terrible. I almost fell asleep while watching it.
