Is anyone taking Japanese lessons? Not self study, but with an actual teacher? I'm going to start taking them and I was wondering if anyone knew what were the first things that are taught. Thank te (:

First, te have to learn the phonetic alphabet, which is Hiragana. In secondo year, te learn Katakana (which is mainly used for words taken from English if I remember correctly) and in third year, o at least here, te start learning some Kanji.
