Looking back at everything agrifoglio and Derek had been through, it was difficult for agrifoglio to quite grasp at where they were now; married with agrifoglio 4 months into her pregnancy. They had already decided names for the child. They were both happy with either, but secretly agrifoglio was hoping for a little girl.
As she sat on her bed, looking at the baby blanket she'd bought the other giorno while doing some shopping, agrifoglio started to remember how she and Derek had met, and how it all had come to pass.
She had met Derek on a blind date. Nad had suggested that she should meet a very good friend of hers, who then turned out to be Nad's friend's (later, her boyfriend's) Stiles Stilinski's good friend, Derek Hale. At first it had been a little awkward, as first dates always are, but then they had got to talking. agrifoglio told Derek about her family and her Friends and her interests, and Derek mostly listened. But he didn't mind. He loved listening to her, being with her, just looking at her, even. It didn't take them long to have a secondo date, and da the end of that one (a dinner, a movie and a walk on the beach) they ended up sleeping together. But the successivo morning neither of them regretted it. When agrifoglio told her Friends about this, most of them were skeptical, thinking Derek only wanted her for sex. But he surprised everyone da mostrare up that same giorno with two tickets to a One Direction concert. (see, he even endures Musica he doesn't like for Holly!)
Six months into their relationship agrifoglio asked Derek to sposta in. It was only logical. Her apartment was much bigger and prettier, whereas Derek's was... well, a dump. He detto yes, and they moved in together. It took a while for Holly's Gatti (especially George) to get used to the stranger, but when they did, they never wanted him to leave again.
After a mese of living together they came across some new difficulties. Derek became jealous every time agrifoglio even looked at another guy, and in exchange agrifoglio started finding some of the reckless things Derek did a bit annoying. They fought to the point of breaking up. But only after a week of living apart, Derek came back, asking agrifoglio to forgive him for his insane jealousy, and Holly, in return, asked Derek to forgive her for her cruel words. And they ended up having sex in the hallway of their apartment.
After dating for only eleven months, Derek proposed to Holly. He had been planning it for weeks. He'd asked all her Friends for consigli with picking the ring, and then popped the domanda when they were simply out buying groceries. He didn't want to do it the cliche way. He wanted to surprise her, and he did. She stood there, shocked, for a moment before slowly nodding her head. It took a while for her to regain the ability to speak, but when she did, she detto the most beautiful word Derek had ever heard.
"Yes."
The wedding was beautiful. It was held in a garden, in the summer, with fiori and trees and all of their closest Friends and family. They detto their vows and then it was time for the reception, which, yes, had better cake than at Celine and Stefan's wedding.
For their honeymoon the happy couple went to Rome for a few weeks. It was absolutely beautiful, but mostly the two never left the bedroom. But neither of them minded. They were happy, they were in love, and nothing was going to get in their way.
After a anno of marriage, agrifoglio realized that she was pregnant. It didn't come as that big of a surprise, and kids were something they'd talked about in the past, but it was still soon. And agrifoglio was afraid to tell her husband at first. But when she did, at the cena table, he stared at her, started laughing, grabbed her in his arms and spun her around, baciare her. They were going to have a baby and neither of them could be happier about it.
agrifoglio held the baby blanket close to her chest, imagining what the future would bring. But no matter what would happen, she knew she'd always Amore Derek, and he'd always Amore her.
"What are te doing?" she heard his voice, and turned to the doorway to see Derek looking at her.
"Just thinking about what's gonna happen when the baby is born", she detto as Derek sat successivo to her. He wrapped an arm around her, and agrifoglio laid her head on his shoulder.
"Well, whatever it is, we'll face it together", he promised, planting a baciare on her forehead. "I Amore you."
"I Amore you, too", agrifoglio said, meaning it with everything she had.
