The season finale already?!?! What happened!? That was the fastest 13 episodes of my life! It began on Wedsnday January 21st....and ended Wedsnday May 13th. I CAN'T WAIT FOR SEASON 2!!

Now, on a serious observational note, this episode was VERY case heavy due to it's intensity. Hello, bombings are a very serious issue, and I have to give kudos to the writers of this episode for gracefully playing this mostra around such a touchy subject matter. But lets begin!

We begin with a VERY House like beginning. Almost the same music, and everything that's expected to happen, does. The bus blew up! This is me: 'Well let's start things off with a BANG, shall we?'

We see some Ria/Karl going on to begin the episode once again, but she really IS happy with him so it's devastating to her when he ends up in the hospital. But più on that later. Truth be told, I really thought we'd see più of Zoe and Cal here, but we only really see Zoe in 4-5 scenes. And Emily has a place in here too, but all of her scenes consisted of her being really scared. This is good to have because we now know to how she reacts to the cases that Cal has to handle practically every giorno o week.
We see Cal take over a lame attempt at an investigation and explains, 'You need to alter the conditions'. So this would explain why their interrogation room has 2 sided glass on ALL walls, lights all over your face with a camera sitting in front of te and Cal shouting at you...? Yes, those are PERFECT conditions. ;D
At least we got to see Tim's fabulously sculpted arms with his sleeves rolled up. (Or was it a T-shirt...)

Well now, Ria and Gillian go out on their own to do some investigating...Ria apparently 'misses' a clue. When she talks to Cal, he knows EXACTLY what she's going though. Whenever Cal's missed something, it sticks with him, and he's had some pretty big misses over the years. But he calmly tells her, 'I need te focused, love.'
WOW!! There's some Eli in this episode!! Finally he's back to his old self we saw in the Pilot. 'This job has opened some pretty crazy doors, but this is one I never wanted to walk through.' I admit, the secondo bombing in the mall was a pretty horriffic site and Loker confirms this da saying, 'I'll be outside vomiting.' Glad your back, Loker!! ....for the finale... ._.
Well here's our first phone call with a horrified Gillian on our end. Immediatly I'm sure we ALL knew what had just happened. I know Callian fan must be happy, but can we please have a moment of silence for this brutal break-up? .......thank you. te can now go back to squealing.
Aaaand of course, Ria's boyfriend, Karl, was at the mall, in the elevator...for 4 hours. Of course, Cal makes the wise decision to not tell her any of this. It's rough on her, but she needs the lesson.
There's one più scene with Zoe, Call rings her up, and they just chat really. But I loved the line, 'You always did have a funny way of saying I Amore you.' Cal still loves her, people, and Gillian's heading for some rough days ahead...so don't expect this relationship to just happen on the Season 2 premire. It WILL be a strong possibility though. I can confermare that.
The case takes a drastic turn though, 'These are the faces of innocents, not suicide bombers.' Uh-oh.

Now when they go out to look for the possible planner of this whole catrosphe, Ria seems to be spotting più than Cal. It's her last intence moment before she storms off to the hospital to go and see Karl. But she leaves Gillian with some più harsh words for her to take in this episode, 'Lightman plays God, and te make excuses for him.' 'Ria,' 'Leave me the hell alone.' ...I really feel so sorry for Gillian, she's going though alot.

Now Emily gets her word in about her dad and Zoe being together. 'It's like they don't remember how bad it was.' She later says, 'He's so much happier when he's with you.' ...yes, te can scream for joy now, Callian fans.

This episode titolo literally means sacrifice. For everyone in this episode. Of course, they found the killer, and it was the nefew. Of course, they had to shoot him square in the head, but he was about to detonate another bomb, that's what I would have done. Cal says a quick bye to Loker, no big ending for him. But in Sacrifice, I mean Gillian just Lost her husband. Sure she didn't want to, but she Lost something that meant alot to her, and that's as close to sacrifice as te can get. When Cal found out, I was honest to God, waiting for them to kiss. THAT, Ladies (and gentlmen??), is where the ship of Callian should have, and CAN officially begin. Cal now moves onto a very pissed off Ria. She claims that 'Loker worships him, and Foster indulges him.' she says 'The problems not the job, it's working for you.' Cal says 'You have a talent, it comes with sacrifice.' Well, he'd know first hand about this type of sacrifice.
This season ends with the best quote ever detto since 'Everybody Lies' on House.
"That talent? It dosen't belong to just te anymore." And with an epic shot of Cal walking down the darkening halls of the Lightman Group facility, we end the first season of Lie to Me*

Well it was great, wasn't it? It was very case heavy, but the last 5-10 miunets of the episode consisted of just the characters, and that was enough for me.

We all know that Loker's few scenes were short, but at least he had lines in all of them this time.

Ria? Well she's now officially the most pissed off member of the group, but she's becoming the most vital. Withought her, this case would have taken longer, and that's a fact. I think that no matter how many times that she whines and complains, this mostra and the Group needs her. And Cal is willing to do whatever it takes to teach her everything he knows. (Well...maybe not everything...)

Gillian is the most emotional character, but this mostra needs that to balance out Ria and Eli's characters. She took a hard hit tonight, and while doors may have closed for her, one più has opened. That's where Cal comes in.

Now I don't want to get all shippy here, but I just want to say that Cal CARES for her. It might not be full blown love, but if anything happened to Gillian, Cal would be there in an instant. (As shown in Blinded).
But while Gillian, Ria and Eli have the complex needs of this drama (emotion, comedy, and the 'newbie' (as a guide for the audience)), Cal's characer is all in one. da far the most complex and deep, and he will need several libri to even begin to cover what season 1 has revealed for us. Cal is an obsessive, self driven, person with the needs to know the truth. He knows how to get it, but he needs his team to do so. Theres a reason everyone is there. And I'm sure that in season 2, we will find out why.

But as for now, I think that I might post several articoli after this, just discussing my preferito thing out of this whole show. Dr. Cal Lightman himself. But for now, I think I'll have to make it through this withdrawl of my preferito mostra as season 1 has already come to an end and season 2 several months away. I'll make it once the DVD comes out.

So...this is the final articolo for season 1! What are your thoughts? Did te Amore it? Hate it?? Will te go through withdrawl and shock from the loss of Lie to Me* like I will? Please post in the commenti section below!! My last articolo got 27 comments, I hope this one will do just as well! Maybe even better!

SEE te IN SEASON 2!!
The door opened, fractionally, just enough for Cal to catch a brief glimpse of surprise and pleasure on the face of the woman he loved.

Giving her no chance to recover herself Cal virtually pushed his way through the small opening giving no regard to the sharp intake of breath he left in his wake.
Reaching the middle of the living room Cal turned and faced Gillian who had only just finished closing the door

“So Foster, do te make a habit of opening your door this late at night, not knowing who is on the other side – o were te expecting company? – should I leave?”
“Good evening Cal....

VEGAS BABY!! The episode we've been waiting for has been, and it was epic. Simply epic.
While this dosen't hold up to the drama the precedente episode delivered us, it can stand on it's own with the same formula as last weeks. And it really works well for this show, so let's get started!

--

We begin with another shooting (that seems to be the normal opening for this show, just as House is to people fainting o vomiting blood before opening credits.)
But once Cal steps in, he get's a warm welcome.
"Never thought I'd see it!"
"See what?"
"The giorno they got Cal Lightman back in Vegas."

Well fellow Lie to Me fans...I'm back!! This is just a little update to share with te my feelings on our long wait for the rest of season 2, and to share a quick update with my reviews.

First off, it's GREAT to be back! I was going to start Scrivere out my reviews on Monday, when Lie to Me comes back to avvolgere up it's 2nd season, but I figred I would get ahead of the game and share how DIFFICULT this wait has been for me!

Now, as te can see da my icon, I did have something else to obsess over (Alice in Wonderland) so it kept me alive through the long absence of my preferito TV mostra of all time,...

The best films are the ones that te can watch over and over and they never get stale. Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Cani are two of those films. They both have some very obvious elements in common. They were each directed da Quentin Tarantino, and had the highly recognizable Tim Roth in prominent roles. We all recognize Tim Roth as the restaurant robber in Pulp Fiction, and as the police rat, Mr. Orange, in Reservoir Dogs. Since being a part of these iconic films, Roth has remained quite potent in the industry and has managed to add an impressive lista of Film to his resume. But these days,...

Once again volpe has decided to mess with the intended order of the episodes so HENCE all of the major plot holes.

Quite an interesting case, and it was a good one to start up the November Sweeps. The only downside, it was WAY to confusing for me to piece together during the episode. Too many names and events to piece together and write down, so just try and ignore my messy plot outline. ^_^

I was glad that the writers finally got together and wrote Reyonalds' backstory. He now had a decent history that we can base his character off of for the rest of the season and a reason as to why Cal wanted...
