Little Mix infamously had to change their name half way through the live show stages of
back in 2011 from Rhythmix, after facing a legal challenge for the name from a charity.
However, did you know that that wasn\'t the first time the girl group had to switch their name during the competition, and that their original name had a very amusing but unintended risqué meaning?
After being put together during the Boot Camp stages of the contest, the girls were through to Tulisa\'s Judges\' Houses under the guise of Infinite Bass.
Speaking about all of the groups having to change their names in the current series of
, Jesy Nelson told Digital Spy: "It\'s really frustrating because we changed it three times.
"We were Infinite Bass and they were like, \'You\'ve got to change it\'."
Perrie Edwards continued: "The producers asked, \'Have you seen what that means on Urban Dictionary?\' and we were like, \'No\'."
"It means everlasting orgasm!" Jade Thirlwall explained, laughing: "I had shoes made with the name on and everything. I spent good money on them for Judges\' Houses."
Does she still own them though? "Oh my god, I might have, y\'know - at home. They were Converse with Infinite Bass graffiti\'d on them!"
They ultimately changed it to Rhythmix, but were then later forced to go with Little Mix amongst a very testing time for them in the competition.
"It was because nobody knew who the heck we were anyway, so changing the name didn\'t bloody help," Perrie said. "We thought we were going that week." (Which so happened to be their amazing \'ET\' performance for the Halloween show.)
Aside from Little Mix, were there any other options? "We always wanted to keep Mix," Jesy explained. "So we tried RT Mix, which was shit!"
Little Mix are currently preparing to release their third studio album
worldwide on November 6, which includes their chart-topping hit \'Black Magic\' and latest single \'Love Me Like You\'.
