For everyone hoping for an update on the #SaveLucifer front, we have good news and bad news.

The good news is that it looks like Amazon Studios has had talks to revive the cancelled

, but the bad news is we have no idea how those talks have actually played out, or if they\'re still ongoing. But at least there\'s hope, right?

Last month it was confirmed that Fox had cancelled the DC Comics series after three seasons, leaving the series on a huge cliffhanger and prompting fans to launch a social media campaign to save the series.

But while the fans have been campaigning, we haven\'t actually heard any news from any studios who could be interested in picking it up – until now, that is, as new Amazon Studios boss Jennifer Salke has confirmed they\'ve been discussing the series, with talks still happening as recently as last week.

"I know that international, especially the UK group, was really bullish on that show, I haven\'t checked in on that today [Thursday], but I heard conversations were ongoing on that yesterday."

Lucifer\'s Tom Ellis says no-one expected show\'s axe

star Tom Ellis certainly seemed optimistic about the news, responding to an article about a possible new home for the show with a fist bump emoji and an intriguing update.

Amazon Studios has already saved once cancelled TV show recently, with CEO Jeff Bezos confirming they had picked up

for another season, meaning that Amazon could soon be carving out a name for itself as quite the TV show rescuer.

Still, there\'s been no official announcements just yet so we\'ll have to keep on hoping for now.
