“Great job today, kitty!” detto Ladybug, twisting her yo-yo around the nearest roof. “I have some free time later this evening - cena on the rooftops?” Chat Noir, who was extending his stick, fell off looking surprised, but his expression faded into a mischievous grin. “Sorry, milady, but I like someone else now.” Ladybug stared at him for a few seconds, then started to giggle. “Right,” she said. “And I’m in Amore with the mayor.” Chat Noir frowned. “It’s true,” he told Ladybug. For half of a half of a second, Ladybug wondered if he was telling the truth.

“Yeah? Who is it?” she asked. Chat smirked. “Jealous?”
“Hardly,” Ladybug retorted.
Rolling her eyes, Ladybug swung away, feeling disturbed.

Chat couldn’t like someone else. He’d liked Ladybug since…forever! Ladybug tried to make herself believe that Chat was lying, but she saw the truth. As she sighed, she turned her head up. Why was she even worried about all this? She didn’t even like Chat, she liked Adrien. Feeling a little better, Ladybug swung onto her balcony and de-transformed. “Spots off!”

As she lay on her bed, just pondering life and Adrien (mostly Adrien, but then again he is life.) Marinette was startled out of her thoughts when she heard a loud thud on her balcony. Grabbing a pen, she stuck it out in front of her, ready to stab any intruders to sparkly rosa death.

“Marinette?”

Marinette screamed, waving her pen around. Tripping on absolutely nothing, she toppled down, sparkly rosa ink spraying all over the ground. Now più embarrassed than scared, she got up, trying to pretend nothing ever happened. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw something moving…

“Chat Noir?” Marinette asked, stunned. “What are te doing here?”

“Um…” Chat replied, fingering his staff. Red flushed into his cheeks.

Marinette stood confused for a few seconds, then realized.

“Oh.”
