Disney adaptations of classic stories are hardly faithful, and that's not necessarily a bad thing. But it is troubling when the company defines a story so much to the point that we forget the true spirit of it. In particular, The Jungle Book da Ruyard Kipling is such a case.

Disney's 1967 animated classic is mostly remembered fondly, and I myself own it on Platinum Edition. While it is a shame that it couldn't be closer to the original story due to Disney himself finding it too dark for children, it's still a lighthearted, pleasant adventure with fun songs. In 2016, Disney released a live action remake of the animated film that takes a bit più from the original book. I enjoyed that one to an extent. However, it is still chained to the Disney label, with the unneeded addition of the songs and not going that dark. There were moments of action, peril, and mature themes, but like other PG-rated films, it couldn't go too far.

This anno in October will come yet another Jungle Book film titled Mowgli. It's not from Disney, but from the motion-capture expert Andy Serkis. The film apparently has been dato a PG-13 rating for intense bloody violence and thematic elements.

And I couldn't be più excited.

With Serkis as Baloo, Cate Blanchette as Kaa, Christian Bale as Bagheera, and Benedict Cumberbatch as Shere Khan, I am stoked to see this. I see it being a visually impressive, gritty, mature, and thought-provoking take on Kipling's story. I still like the Disney films, but it's time for different take. So keep on the lookout for the trailer. It is detto to be dropping soon.

 Brian Oerly
Brian Oerly
Actor Brian Oerly packs a one, two, three punch, punzone with appearances in “Parker,” “Bullet to the Head” and “The East.” Dubbed Hollywood’s newest ‘bad boy’, this Stuntman turned professional Actor has been taking his fair share of licks against Hollywood’s A-listers for some time now.

Brian gained attention last anno as the Arian henchman flanking Vincent D’Onofrio and Bruce Willis in the action-thriller "Fire with Fire," and alongside Forest Whitaker in the Lionsgate release, "Freelancers." His precedente Televisione credits include “Memphis Beat,” “CSI: NY,” “Chuck,”...

This movie is an amazing one! It combines two of my preferito things: Comedy and Zombies. The actors were great.

Jesse Einsenberg was amazing as Columbus. He had great facial expressions and amazing narrative skills, along with his character's rules like #1: Cardio and #32: Enjoy the little things. He was purely amazing as some wimpy college student who never opened up to the outside world.

Woody Harrelson is, in my opinion, what made this movie. His character zombie ass-kicker Tallahassee is tough, brave, and skilled. Although all this is true, we see più of a sadder side of Tallahassee. His...

I just Amore the fourth X-men movie. It explains so much about Logans past. I cry everytime I see Hugh in the movie nearly in tears when someone he loves o cares about is killed. I just can't stand seeing men cry, but only true men cry. It twists around action and romance in such a great way. I Amore the part when he is on the motorcycle and he retracts his claws and shreds Striker's men car and it flips into the air and almost hits Zero. It's so cool when he blows up the helicopter in slow mo. It gives be Piccoli brividi everytime I see him walk away with a serious face on him. It's so hot! It's detto at the end when he gets his memory taken away from him and he doesn't remember the girl of his dreams and she dies right there on the spot after driving Striker away. It was also a good idea to make Sabertooth, Wolverine's bro. That made the movie più exciting and shows the rivalry of them in the first X-men movie. I think Hugh did a wonderful job recitazione all aggressive and all.
