The Beatles- Easily the best band (and my fave) in the history of time ;] What I Amore about them is how versatile and volatile their Musica was. They had the fun/goofy songs (i.e. Yellow Submarine, Octopuses Garden, Ob-la-di Ob-la-da) to songs like Let it be, which is probably one of the best songs ever written. The words speak so loud (in my ora of darkness there is still a light that shines on me), especially to those in pain, o who have been through pain (which lets face it, we all have.) I could probably go on to write an essay about them, but it's time to sposta on.
U2- Another amazing band with great Musica that speaks to so many. One of my preferiti of theirs is Walk On, the message in it is so... I don't even know what word to use. "And Amore is not the easy thing." I think everyone knows that, and that's just the first line; hits home.
Paramore- the song "For a Pessimist, I'm Pretty Optimistic" is a perfect analogy for a lot that has happened in my life. The first time I heard it chorus line, I put my faith in te so much faith and then te just threw it away, hit me. I don't know any other way to put it other than I could just feel it. A lot has happened in my life and there are certain family members I thought I could trust, but they took advantage and... sigh...
Katy Perry- Like The Beatles, she is versatile. Her Musica can go from light and fun (i.e. California Girls, Teenage Dream, T.G.I.F., etc.) to serious (Lost, Not Like the Movies, I'm Still Breathing). Lost is one of my preferito songs b/c I think everyone can relate: Have te ever been so lost, known the way and still so lost.
I'm going to end there, but I do Amore a few of the others as well. I tend to rant and go on for a super long time when I get really into it. I'm def not a fan of Green Day, Adam Lambert, o Metallica, no offense there's a reason for the many styles of music. Maybe I'll come back and leave a commento on a few of the others, but these were the major ones I wanted to commento on.
